@wisconsinmom that sounds like a fun trip.
@tink1970 beat me to it but I would echo her recommendation of the Barclaycard Arrival Plus. A great card for the incidentals of travel. Plus when you cash it out you get 5% back. Similar to Capital One Venture. It also is a Mastercard and has all the advantages of travel in Europe. I would get that instead of considering cashing out UR’s. The bonus is pretty good right now.
@magickingdomprincess I bought direct and put some of it on my Reserve. Yes it coded as travel. Easy way to earn points!
@shairpdrh I am so glad you got to go to Moonlight Magic and am jealous. I am not going as the dates didn’t coincide with our trip, but in case they offer it in the future I was wondering. How was EMM at HS? We are doing that this coming trip. I have followed the thread on it off and on but keeping up on this one is practically a full time job!
@have2getaway the Office Max by me sells gift cards. They are on a huge kiosk right by check out. Disney in both you set amount up to $500 and $50 denominations. Perhaps you have missed it? I wouldn’t get your DH a CIC right now. He can use that card as an “employee” if you request a card for him. Think about getting him either the CIP if those categories work (and because it does have a good referral bonus you can use later) or even the CSR or CSP. I think the CIC is an awesome card and can’t believe it is a no fee!
