I'm pretty upset seeing the CIP bonuses are pending longer than normal. We have been waiting forever to buy these plane tickets and I was hoping we would see the points sometime tomorrow or at least SOMETIME this week.
But you already see your points pending...you are not experiencing the issue that others are discussing. You just need to wait for a statement to close and you’re points will post (exactly as it is expected to work).

Others are seeing an increased wait time to see their points listed in the pending category. This is causing greater concern that there is increased scrutiny or something going on around bonuses.

I’m not attempting to trivialize your experience - just making you aware of why others are rightfully concerned about points not showing pending.

Ahhh my bad. I didn't know it was for people waiting to see points pending.

DH met the spend on the business unlimited in less than a month. Statement closed. I have waited and no points. Not showing pending; not showing anything at all. Last week I sent a secure message on it and while they have received the message no response as to where points are. I don’t have any use for the points right now but it is definitely frustrating.

Urgh, how frustrating. My CIP statement closes tomorrow and I am also waiting on a bonus (met MSR about 12 days ago). Please let us know what you hear back from Chase. I haven't heard about anyone else SM'ing them about this issue.

Edited to add: are you showing points (pending or already in your account) from the spend at least?

Yes points for the spend are there but no bonus. They posted as usual whsn statement closed. I’ve been so busy that I didn’t ever verify the msr date or the bonus. Since it is DH’s card and I know he won’t want to call that is why I sent the SM. Just double checked...sent message August 30 and same day received auto response that it had been received. No substantive response to my question though. More importantly no bonus points and no pending bonus points. :(

I'm waiting for points on my CSP. I sent a SM on 8/14 and they confirmed I had met the MSR. They said it could be 1 to 2 billing cycles before the bonus appeared. 3 weeks later it is still not pending.

I’m also missing pending points on my CIC. Met the spend on August 17 and still haven’t seen anything pending other than points for charges. My statement closes the 10th so I guess if nothing else I should have the points posted next week.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek is not a DVC property, but it is a Wyndham property. Barclays services the Wyndham family, and all redemptions are a flat 15,000 points per night.
this is gold...I have never thought of this and always wanted to try the place out!!!! and possibly a reason to get another barclays card at some point....

P2’s CIP closed its first statement yesterday, and we were able to finish the MSR yesterday as well, so HOPEFULLY that’s soon enough to get the bonus with the second statement. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the points to show pending.

His new IHG Premier has a TSA PreCheck/Global Entry credit. We'll probably get the Global Entry since we’re planning a trip to Europe in 2020. He also sometimes travels out of the country for work (Mexico and Japan). How long does it take for that paperwork to process?
this reminds me... does the regular old IHG cc have the precheck credit attached? I still have the 'old' cards...

I checked credit karma and I became 4/24 on 9/1. I want to get CIP but I have a bunch of MSRs I’m working on so was thinking of holding off anyways. BUT I was hoping to fund CIP with the PNC deal and I’m afraid it won’t be around much longer. My last Chase app was 4/18. Thoughts?

I have 3 options for our Disneyworld trip this weekend (Sat-Mon) with 2 pool days since we are only going to the parks on Sun (HS (EMMH), Epcot and AK):
YC- garden/woods view- 50067 points
POR- preferred- 36533 points
POR- standard- 32333

Which would you choose? We currently have 375k URs plus I have the CIU spend to do for add'l 50k points. I am so indecisive!

Go for it! The worst that can happen is you will be denied and then can reapply in 30 days. Don't forget to use your own name as the business name.

With 2 pool days, definitely YC! Although I'm a biased BCV owner...

I would think your fine..since your last Chase application was 5 months ago

I’d choose YC....since you have 2 pool days
