I did one for me at the same time as another AMEX app in case it triggered a hard pull (it didn’t). Next time my wife signs up for a card I’m going to refer her for sure.

But don't feel bad, I for one am still super happy for you both getting the card even without supporting another member. And I'm sure many others are too. You'll get someone on the next round I'm sure and it'll all even out in the end. As evidenced by @SouthFayetteFan 's survey a few months back, there are many more cards out there and new ones opening all the time, even ones without support links available that we'll still recommend them and I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash eventually.

Well i just went to the disney gift card thread. Some are getting dis cards but others have posted about getting 30 dollar sams club card.
I just called Sams Club.com about negative reviews regarding their gift cards. She responded people don't follow directions o as you
have to go through the activation email or in your letter.

So check if you are in the state that you don't pay the non member fee. Maybe get the Sams gift cards so you can use at Walmart.

Find a friend with a membership. I am going to bum off my parents to use my Amex offers.

Yes, we booked a cruise in January 2019 via UR points. Very easy. Just called the Chase Travel line, told them the details of the trip and cabin I wanted, and it was done. I entered the booking number into the Disney website within minutes of booking and it showed up right away. We got the welcome envelop a couple weeks later.

Now, I still need to call to setup ground travel and I need to book flights and hotel stays before and DVC stay after.

It truly is AMAZING how much you can earn when you have a clean slate with Chase and are in 2 player mode. Our plan is to hit the following in a 2 year span (with some other cards mixed in too):

• 2x CIP
• 2x CSP
• 2x CSR
• 2x CIC or CIU

That's $32,000 in combined MSR BUT it's also worth over $8,000 in travel when you include the base points and potential referral points. This doesn't even include the ability to potentially do BOTH CIC and CIU and looking at CF and CFU.

Thank you! I heard you all are great and helpful. I have applied to no credit cards. In fact paid off all of them years ago and now want to find ways to get my family on a vacation. heard this is a great way once you understand it. So her eis my plans:

Disney cruise, LAX or San Diego are the two closest. Any advice I'm all ears.
