I love credit cards so much!

@Lain and @Albort both explained. I move all my CIP points to my CSR making them worth even more. Just paying my mortgage with CIP covers the annual fee in 3 mos.

So as long as this coding lasts, it’s a keeper card for us!

Same thought here. Our mortgage is with Chase, so no go for us on the mortgage front, but our car payments are working just fine through Plastiq for 3x, and now the thinking here is we will likely also keep both CIPs (or possibly PC one to CIC, but thinking about applying for one as well) since it's become essentially a no AF card for us with the payback.

AMEX hands out Biz cards like candy :) I got the BGR, Green Biz, Blue Biz+, Delta Gold Biz, SPG Biz all in like a 9 months span or less.

The Delta Biz has had better offers though recently. I signed up when they were doing 50k for $2k spend. Not sure what the current offer is but I think it's less than that right now.

I think it's 30k for the gold and 35k + 5k medallion on the Delta biz plat right now. Both 1k spend. That plat comes with a 100 statement credit right now, though so it could be valuable for some.

They had hit Chase pretty hard, imo. Much harder than I'd be willing or comfortable with. 2/3, 3/6 and 4/9. I think I'm 3/12 and I'm terrified to apply for another Chase card.

I agree. I opened Saph preferred in 2015. Reserve in 2016 and hyatt 2017. I already had my freedom for 5 years.

Even opening 1 card a year from Chase makes me nervous and i will sit
this year out with them.

Yeah, we have magicbands and will be sure to give Magical Express our baggage claim stub.
Just finished online check in for our flight! Less than 24 hours to go!

Have a magical trip! I am right behind you in 2 and 1/2 weeks with a spur of the moment trip, almost all on DVC points - at Polynesian Villas - nights snatched one at a time - can't believe it came together, SPG points - Clearwater - Sand Key Resort for 2 beach nights, IHG points - room driving down in Jacksonville, Florida and Club Carlson on the way back in Florence, SC. Have a couple of gas gift cards and many restaurant gift cards plus Disney gift cards, and if any additional supplies are needed, I have a $300 Target gift card! Obviously there is out of pocket cost here but all in all it's very discounted. Two friends are joining me. We will all go to AK Moonlight Magic. I have annual pass, but they have no tickets. They may just enjoy the pool and the umbrella drinks!

I now have the Amex SPG Biz CC which I believe gets me access to the Sheraton lounge with it. I need to book a one night stay closer to the airport before we fly to Orlando next Friday and thought it might be a good opportunity to check out the lounge since the price is reasonable. Any thoughts on the Sheraton lounges? We'd probably use it in the evening and then early morning since we have a 6 am flight and it says it is open 24/7.

Sheraton lounge is pretty cool. we used it quite a bit on a stay in San Diego. Breakfast was full breakfast with some pretty tasty bacon. There was drink, ie tea, soft drinks, coffee available all day with some snacks. At night, they put out soup and salad and a few other stuff. Very well worth it imo.

Scary to me but also stupid they are not paying attention. That’s what spreadsheets are for. Lol.
I’m staying away from Chase for now. Finishing BOA card spend & starting SPG Biz spend. Keeping DH under 5/24 for a chance at Companion Pass. I may have withdrawals by summer.

If they up the bonus on the CSR, I may go for it.

Yep, except the gold only has a $50 credit. But the gold has no fee the first year, and the plat has a $195 not waived up front. 50000 would be great, but I am terrible at waiting. Unless I did the Hilton Biz first. That one has a much higher spend though.

I've done a lot of Sheraton lounges and no two are the same. Quality I would say varies quite a bit. Hoping to get an upgrade when we go to Sand Key. I've been upgraded there before and it was a nice perk. I truly enjoy the convenience of a club lounge, especially in the mornings.

I got the 5-7 days reply on this one:scared1: (waah

Well, rats! I couldn't in good conscience like this post b/c I don't like that for you :sad1:

Hoping it will come out in your favor and you'll get to pick a lovely new card soon(I :love:all of the different colors offered for their card, silly but true).

Thanks! Might have to give it a try since it's only $94 for the night. But we'll miss the full breakfast in the am but we will be landing in Orlando and Universal so I am sure that makes up for it.

Both Delta cards are usually higher. It would make sense to wait. Seems like they usually go up in June for higher bonus. Do you have both the SPG cards? You could transfer those points to Delta and they might be going away. Isn't the Hilton business a higher bonus right now? If so that might be way to go.

Thanks. I saw you were heading to Clearwater. We went there last summer and stayed at the Sand Pearl Resort and it was awesome. We got upgraded to a one-bedroom suite that had a corner view of the ocean and the channel. It was awesome! Might have to try the Sand Key next time. Although DS10 loved playing chess and ping pong there.

Thanks, good to know. We had the personal SPG a couple of years ago and both have the SPG Biz now. Those points I want to keep where they are. Maybe I will try the Hilton first and wait. I will have to see if I can come up with the spend, since my mortgage is with Chase and my dd's rent is paid to the end of her lease and then she moves home LOL

Mr. Cooper (that works for you, correct?)
Wells Fargo
Chase
Ditech

Does the Ink Cash work for 3x or only Ink Preferred?
@peel also has Mr Cooper. I think you'll be good on that one!

WF, Chase & Ditech are probably going to need some tweaking (not familiar with Ditech...that might slip through). I have Provident Funding. When I go through plastiq, my top address line reads Attn: Cashier. Then the second address line is the physical address with Provident at the end. I didn't figure it out. @vanjust14 did and it's working great for me. Maybe she will chime in here on exactly how she came up with this. She told me but I can't remember.

Hi, I'm seeing this a little late here but I'd be glad to help. I actually called the mortgage company to ask what address to use to send in a check. I was hoping for a different address than what Plastiq already had recorded as a Provident Funding address. She told me the first line should read ATTN: CASHIER. I just used that as the Recipient Name and stuck in the name Provident somewhere on the second line. Plastiq didn't pick it up at all because they think I'm sending to Attn:Cashier, not Provident. You could try calling your mortgage companies to see if you can do something similar.

So, booked Poly thru UR portal. Sometime over the weekend realized I never arranged DME. Tried to find on website but couldn’t figure it out. Got an email today with info about our stay (starting Wednesday) and a number to call for MDE along with the info on our stay, confirmation number, etc. Called the number & CM can’t find my ressie. Asks if I booked third party then says he can’t access my ressie & cant add my info for DME.
I wonder if I needed to do all that thru the Disney Wholesale number. Weird that I got a Disney email with a confirmation number Disney doesn’t recognize

We leave tomorrow, so not worrying about it anymore. But the email I received yesterday was from Disney, welcoming us back to WDW

“We’re so glad that you’re coming back to visit us—there’s even more to see and do! Plus, it’s easier than ever to enjoy your perfect vacation as you simply relax and have fun with family and friends.

Confirmation Number: 472041756xxx
Arrival: February 28, 2018
Departure: March 1, 2018
Resort: Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Package: Room Only”

I understand third party bookings and called Disney Wholesale originally to get my confirmation numbers & adjust the booking. Booked ADRs and FPs. Got my Magic Bands. So now I get emails from Disney themselves, not Chase, with a confirmation number no one recognizes. So if Disney doesn’t recognize the number, how exactly will the hotel recognize it? (That’s a bit sarcastic as I’m sure it will be fine, but it’s still odd. )

You can set up DME online here:
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/airport-transportation-reservation/

As you can see, I hate calling anywhere for anything. I am the master of online chat and email.

I had the flu all last week, and I'm SOOOO far behind on this thread with no idea when I'll be able to catch up. I know @wendow mentioned me and Mr. Cooper, and @pillow reached out to me directly about that. If anyone else has been looking for me in the past 20 pages or so, let me know!

I'm so sorry you have been sick. Feel better soon! The flu has hit so many this year :(

Sorry to hear you've been sick with the flu. It's definitely really bad this year. I'm still working on getting everything back to normal and I had it two weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure I had just wished you a speedy recovery and expressed my fear of catching the flu the day before I got sick. I'm feeling human again, but it took a solid week of bedrest.

So you're saying that bc I paid it all including the af, I now have to wait another month to get the points? Ugh- but they do post eventually right?
Yes, I made the mistake of thinking I just had to meet the MSR and then the points would post, but no. I also called and was told that I needed to pay the annual fee, let that statement close and then the points would show up a week or so later. So, I did all that and still no points. But, then I logged into my TrueBlue account and the points were there! Good luck!
