I love credit cards so much!

I have to admit Wine Bar George was great. We split the fish and chicken dishes. The fish was our favorite and we talk about going back to FL just for that dish! (We are also a family of wine lovers so that didn’t hurt anything...)
I don’t like any seafood but Dh likes some. Would you still go there even if you didn’t get fish?

How into Disney planning is your husband?

Reservation finder is available with a free TP account. I ask (force) other family members to use reservation finder when I need to look for additional dining on our trip. Would he be willing to get a text and jump to book?
That’s true I didn’t think about him making an account too. I ended up just taking one of my artist point ones off because I didn’t need two different ones. So I have an alert for artist point and homecomin now. Not sure if we will get either since it’s on a weekend and during a dance competition

@Haley R is headed to WDW on a last second trip. Most of our discussion is helping her plan! We all love planning WDW trips so it’s been a lot of fun... :)

Oh fun! When will you be there Haley? We leave in 26 days for a ten day trip and I still haven't solidified some of my dining. I'm totally off my game this trip. Life has been throwing distractions at us.

We are staying at yacht club club level and I did email them today asking if they could get us a homecoming adr. I have no idea if we will be able to or not. I can’t use touring plans because I already have my two set up to try and get storybook dining at artist point

Have you tried setting an alert on ***********.com? I was meh about Boathouse but I know plenty of people love it. I'm dying to try Homecoming too.

Have a couple kids and see where life takes you when at Disney springs hahaha.

There hasn’t been a whole lot going on so it’s been an awesome discussion/distraction from work :)

I am legit a huge fan of rainforest cafe at DS and AK. We are so not “foodies” though. I won’t judge those that are but it’s just not our style. We have simple tastes for the most part and it works out for us :)
I don’t mind Landry’s properties. I’ve gone to Rainforest Cafe with only adults in AK before. We split appetizers and it was delicious, air conditioned, and very affordable. No regrets besides not getting the Landry’s card sooner.

I’d tell my kids no lol jk. I’m not a foodie at all and actually I’m quite picky. Sometimes I order off of the kids menu so I can get something a little more plain. I could make a list of food I don’t like but I don’t want to fill up 100 pages :rotfl:

I don’t have any suggestions but this makes me laugh. I would never eat there either for the exact same reason! I can go there anytime I want (and I still don’t). Are you local?
Local to mall of America? We are about 3 hours away. We’ve been many times mainly for hockey games.

We are going January 28-February 3. We literally booked it like two days ago because we saw frontier flights for $28 each and we really wanted to do all 3 dah events. It’s only 6 nights but we really want this trip to be more relaxing. We are forcing ourselves to stay at the resort a lot more and use the amenities there. Two new things I want to try are the Fantasia golf and those little boats you can rent. I only have 2-3 adrs made right now. We are gonna do a lot of quick service since the dah tickets aren’t cheap

Hopefully the party of 2 isn’t affected much by the dance competition. Dining is so funny. The best things can pop up at the most random times. Always good to have a plan b, but with persistence and flexibility of time I think you will find something even if it’s the day before.

We will book something else for now and see what happens. I really want to try the new Snow White dining at artist point but if it doesn’t happen we have an adr at Kona Cafe which is new to us. I loved the potstickers and wings at ohana last year so I bet I’ll like Kona too

That was my original plan. With over 200,000 SW points after our new card spends I figured we really didn’t need it. But I guess I need to think of this as “free” money. Because I keep thinking I just don’t have the extra money to float right now for something that won’t get used soon. Also the problem with GC is I will likely forget I have it! I have a $100 Kroger GC I bought in November from the last of my Amex Lowe’s offer. Still in my purse. Even though I’ve spent probably $1000 at Kroger since I bought it.
I guess my problem with the SW flights is it is just not something I would ever buy, so feel it’s dishonest. But now I’m thinking, I’ve planned a universal hotel stay before. Maybe I should reserve a room there and think about it for awhile. Why that is not dishonest and the other is, I’m not exactly sure. Lol

That is SO fun! I've always wanted to do a last minute trip. I'm sure it will be a blast.

We are simple people when it comes to food (simple when it comes to most things really lol!) and we LOVE RFC :)
