Okay all....So I'm at 8/24 (WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY didn't I open business for more accounts?)
CSR - 10/16
Spirit - 4/17 (for stupid points I can never use as the flights are NEVER as low as they claimed...grrr)
BOA (for 0% transfer) - 9/17
RedAviator AA - 9/17
Delta Gold Amex - 10/17
Hilton Ascend Amex - 11/17
Best Buy 5/18 (damn dryer)
Citi Biz AA 10/18
Chase IHG 10/18
SPG Biz 2006?
I won't be under 5/24 until 10/19. I go to Vegas for school every November. I get a new card to around then because between that and the holidays I easily hit the spend (I pay upfront, the school reimburses me). I want the Ink. I applied for the ink before the 2 in October, I was denied. I'm Chase private banking, I asked my banker to see what he could even do, his hands are tied. So I read once when you're over 5/24 and it's going to be awhile, don't pass on opportunities you have now because you never know what Chase will have in the future. That said, it is smarter for me to apply for the business versions of cards between now and then if I want to go below 5/24, correct? The damn Chase rule confuses me time to time, or maybe it's the blonde hair, LOL. I've hit my $4k spend for the AA Citi Business, and my $3k IHG spend, so I'm looking what my next card will be. I'm holding off for now as I need to get approved for another 0% transfer card in Jan to transfer about $8k of divorce credit card debt I "won". But after that I'll be back to spending on something that earns me some perks.
Seeing my "portfolio" and knowing I'm over 5/24, what would you suggest next? My BF currently lives in NC, I'm in MI, so I've been using those AA miles to see him, I can fly Delta too, just costs more points, so I haven't. I was leaning towards the HH Ascend Biz, but I'm open to others. Oh, and I tried for the RedAviator Biz and was denied. They claimed my "short credit history". I told them it was from needing to open cards in my own name thanks to the divorce, but they didn't care, LOL. Anyone know when I could try for that again? My FICO is about 765-780 and my "average age" is 5 years 6 mos. Though I have cards going back 10+ years.
If your private banker can’t help...I know my bosses couldn’t help her either...Are there Amex business cards you could put the 8k on
