FWIW, we checked Sears Outlet a couple weeks ago for a new washer (ended up fixing ours for $100) and prices were almost the same as buying from Sears on sale. Not much discount even with dents and scratches. Make sure to check the Sears sale ad first to compare.

Agree. I don't even bother with Sears outlet anymore. Nothing is discounted much at all at our store.

Wow really? It must be vary store to store. We got a super nice 5 burner convection oven for less than $500 last year, new in box. I don’t want to talk about how much I paid for a dishwasher at Lowe’s a couple months before that.

I didn't try to change. I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't know if the system would just keeping flagging the address now...?

They sent me two emails, and one basically says we know you are trying to pay your mortgage with a visa and that is a no-no, use Discover or MC lol.

n seat 3 of 5 across next to a wailing toddler in economy from Houston to Narita and swore never again. I have flown UA 3 times in the subsequent 26 years but it helps to be a Delta hostage sometimes

Ha ha! We were the people with the screaming 13 month old. TBF he slept 8 hrs of the 12 hour flight, but the other 4 were throwing Cheerios or crying. Lots of turbulence so not able to get up a lot. We were 3 of the 4 middle seats in Econ plus or whatever they called it then. The poor woman in the 4th seat was very patient and either slept most of the way or covered her head so as not to deal with us. Flight attendants were nasty, forgot to serve us 1 meal, refused hot water for baby’s formula, kicked DH.

tough call. Im not too familiar with China flights. I do see nonstop flights for AA to PEK though. but yeah, AA or United would be the way to go for nonstop flights. i think United has the better seats if u get their Polaris seats though.

The nonstop flights AA has now are going away. I had read they were d/cling some but DHs friend is a flight attendant and flies those routes. She confirmed there will be no nonstops from Chicago to anywhere in China soon.

I almost always end up buying from Sears. One reason I still have a Citi Sears card, almost always free delivery or some other bonus on it for appliances. When we remodeled our kitchen 3 years ago, I stalked all the appliance stores and read all ads, websites etc. Ended up at Sears on Thanksgiving day for one appliance and the rest were at Sears over the weeks after that.

What I did was let it go for that month and send a normal payment. Then the next month I deleted my mortgage in plastiq and set it up new with a diff category. That worked for 2 months until Mr Tesla came along.

So glad I didn't apply for the Hilton biz card yet cause now I have a lot more MSR to meet on the Marriott biz and I've not even begun on the spg biz.

Sounds even more miserable than my experience Hopefully your next long haul flight will be better! I always feel sorry for parents whose kids are unhappy...it's not like they enjoy the screaming/crying/tantrums either.

I'm giving United (Polaris) a shot flying from FRA-SFO over spring break, fingers crossed it will be better!

Ok finally updated mine, took way longer than 10-15 seconds. Lol.

Anyone have any trouble with Amex links? Can’t generate new ones on some cards, goes to a blank page that says network connection lost.

Our mortgage company is also Chase, but I thought it might a hassle (and usually I'm the one who doesn't mind the extra step to jump through lol) to deal with, so elected to just leave it. Now, I think I'm going to give them a call and maybe even ask about removing escrow entirely so I can pay the sizable tax bills on my own (after I call our county to ensure they take CCs; or I guess I could use Plastiq potentially despite the CIP nerf).
