Maybe I'm wrong... I was just assuming that because everyone was saying to get a FP that you could use Maxpass for that.

We sat for F! In fact, a lady to the side of us wanted to stand and the CM made her sit. She argued with the CM and they told her she would either have to leave the area or sit. It got quite heated. People behind her were yelling. Never seen anything like that at WDW lol!

We did both on the same night. We got FP's for the late Fantasmic show so I'd recommend doing that. We had great seating for the show!

I should’ve read this first! Very excited about this seating, I hate standing and people shoving into me but sitting would give me the smallest of personal buffers that would make this doable for me!

Ive done this once... made it even tighter, I did PTN, Fireworks, and then Fantasmic.
Fantasmic, we got there early enough to get the best view allowed with our fastpass ticket. We even stopped at the castle to take a picture between Fireworks and Fantasmic.

I have to make these same calls soon. I'm waiting for my statement to close first. But, how do you word it? Do you just say you want to close the account and they offer the credit?

Idk if this was the best way to word it but I just said my annual fee hit recently and I was wondering if I had any retention offers on my account. Just that got me both offers. I was worried i would have to HUCA if they said I had none, but it was very quick and easy.

I'm not seeing it on there either now that I checked the app. So I guess I need to pull a paper one, but I wonder if I pull a paper FP for Fantasmic if I have to wait the 90 minutes before I can use MP to make another FP...

The FP for F! is separate from the FP system and cannot be pulled from MP. You have to go over to the F! area and do it there.

i got there around 10 last time... they were distribution the 10:30pm show. sounds like it will work out perfect for you. We did however go the Mark Twain docks area though, it was very right side of the rivers but still viewable.

Which part of Rancho Del Zocalo are you talking about? I'm intrigued! Can you see the house from Up or any part of the castle?

You won't be able to see any of the castle or flying effects, but you can hear the music and see the fireworks perfectly.

I think it’s called Zocalo Park? I know that area sometimes has the day of the dead and other exhibits, but the last two times we were there it’s was empty and we were able to sit and watch the fireworks.

EDIT: I took a picture from what it looked like from that location, but it’s on my computer at home. I can upload it later today when I get home if I can still find it!

Have you tried chat? Idk if they’ll be able to help at after the nine day mark but when my Schwab bonus failed to post I was able to use chat to get it. (From my very limited chat experience with fidelity I know the quality of the reps is very different. I had one straight up give me the customer service number to call when I asked when I could take the $200 out and the next one stayed with me for like 20 mins and contacted the promotions department to get me an answer. I’d chat a couple times if you’re not big into talking to people just in case they can do it.)

Thanks. I just chatted. They said that the promotion wasn't attached so they couldn't honor the bonus, even though I opened up the 2 accounts in the correct timeframe. I said I definitely used the link, otherwise I wouldn't know which two accounts needed to be opened, and the link must have broken when I had to reset my password. She agreed but nothing could be done. I'm pretty upset about it and am going to close the accounts.

I had no idea you couldn't buy gift cards at Walgreens with a credit card. I went to go use my freedom for some Disney GCs and was totally shot down. Not sure how we'll max out our two freedoms now.

On a different subject ... I just signed up for ShippingEasy. Have any of you used it before? Anything to watch out for? I put my CIP in, I'm hoping it codes 3x.

It's interesting to read about these regional differences. No problem buying $500 worth of GCs at Walgreens with a CC but I can't find a gas station anywhere close that will let me buy any kind of GC with a CC.
