I completely skipped over this when I skimmed this morning! I signed up, took a break from work and assisted 3 family members. Texted my other one, texted my best friend (who I really hope does this, she loses her job next week and could really use the cash but tends to be scared of bank stuff). I've basically told my entire orbit (which is admittedly small) so anyone else on here who wants it better grab this baby asap
I funded $200 to each but now I realize that was totally unnecessary. For everyone else I helped they just chose to fund $200 to the checking account.
That was the easiest opening ever. 10 mins start to login created and account funded. It was 5 mins for the fam members who were current Fidelity customers (have IRAs). I even failed an id verification q (fam member we do not communicate with, I know what state they're in but no idea what city) and Fidelity gave me a 2nd chance at a new q! So. Easy.
