That would be very nice. I have no followers lol I just made an account for the Marriott tweets. I’m @TravelMarissa

It’s Atlantis Bahamas

Atlantis’ hashtag is #atlantisbahamas. You should tag that too.

ETA: Very behind today, @Albort’s got it right.

Hilton Honors points.... do they expire? My last Hilton stay was 9/17 but I've recently added to my account through e-rewards. Does that restart the clock?

Expiration is one year but your clock has probably restarted.

Unfortunately mine expired as I wasn't paying attention.

hashtag wont do much unless a ton of ppl hashtags
@AtantisBahamas will actually tag the company and shows up on their wall.

I followed you Marissa! I also retweeted it and added @AtlantisBahamas with a note that it isn't on my list of places to go any more. It would be way down the list anyway since beach vacations aren't really my thing but that's not the point. I used to want to go there when I was younger cause it looked fun :)

Retweeted as well. Looks like they’re requesting you to direct message them, keep us posted on what they say.

hmm... been thinking if this is a good combo or not.

We are going to Disneyland in October. I just hit my MSR on my SPG personal and received the 30k points. I was thinking of booking the Four Points by Sheraton with them, but then everyone started talking about the Hyatt locations near Disneyland. So now I'm thinking of using the 50k UR I will get from my CIC to book Hyatt. Is this a better plan? Should I book the Sheraton now just in case? I can get the points back if I change my mind right?

I'm very interested to see some responses because I am trying to make the same decision!

Well I’m livid. The manager was supposed to come at 1:30 with housekeeping and fix the sheets. The manger never came and the housekeeper was arguing with me and said she changed the sheets yesterday. I was like uhhh they are still dirty. Below is part of the review I posted on TripAdvisor but basically housekeeping admitted to me they don’t change the sheets between guests unless there is a stain. The housekeeping manager was yelling at the housekeeper for not realizing the stain when the sheets should be changed no matter what.

Today I went down to the front desk and spoke to a manager who said she would personally come up to my room at 1:30pm to make sure the sheets were clean. At 1:30pm I get a knock on the door from housekeeping. She is unaware of the situation so I inform her. She tells me that the item that was stained is called an insert (comforter) and not the sheets. I tell her then can I get the insert changed and she tells me that she needs to look and see if they have an extra one available. Confused by this statement I ask doesn’t this insert get changed between guest stays. She tells me it only gets changed if their is a stain. This leads to a few issues. One it was stained how did no one from housekeeping notice. Two they don’t change the insert between guests which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. While all this is going on I have called the front desk two times wondering where the manager is who assured me she would be here at 1:30pm. Both times I was transferred and got sent to voice mail. The housekeeping lady eventually found a new insert but the manager never showed up.

eeeewwwwww. Definitely marking this place off the list. :crazy2: Didn't they switch to those lightweight inserts specifically so they would be easy to launder!?

I'll post a more detailed reply when I get the chance tomorrow, but I'll say the Hyatt House on Harbor and Katella is more conveniently located (Starbucks and Walgreens on the ground floor, GardenWalk almost across the street, lots of restaurant options nearby) and a more pleasant walk (along treelined streets on Harbor) to Disneyland Resort's eastern gateway than the Four Points by Sheraton (which is located across the I-5 freeway overpass).

It is lightweight and could definitely be thrown in a regular washing machine idk why they wouldn’t wash it.
