I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

So the CSP will continue at 1.25 for 2 years?
I’m in CSR camp but from what I understand CSP will be 1.25x for about two years unless sometimes in October the point boost would kick in for you giving 1.5 to 1.75x
CSR would be the same for existing card holders with the boost going up to 2x but you would not get less than the 1.25 or 1.5 during that transition period.

So for years I've been using the CSR on all of my rental cars as it one earns 3x currently and provides primary rental car insurance. With the changes to the CSR that will now drop to 1x. I have a Venture X which has primary coverage although not as much as Chase's from what I understand but I would be earning 2x with that card.

I will not be keeping the CSR with the new fee so should I just switch rental charges to the VentureX or is there a better card out there now for rental cars besides these 2?

CSP also provides primary. The limits are less than CSR ($60,000 compared to $75,000), and earnings are 2x for car rentals. It's what we use for every rental.

Maybe I missed the dialog on it, but I haven't seen any CSP changes mentioned yet...
I just think it's not announced, I bet it's coming with a similar time line for point transfers and conversions etc, I cant imagine chase having a ~800$ card earn 1x while the card that will probably be 150-200 earning 2x it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, I'm sure changes are coming. You'd just think if it was similar timeline, there would be some chatter about it or some leak on the info, at the very least. Makes me think maybe the change will follow slightly after CSR changes.

Amex would disagree with that. The green is more of a travel card than the plat. Seen several people say the green may be the move with all the changes coming.

Has anyone that has stayed at the hilton at Tokyo Disney tried buying stuff in the shop and charged it to your room? I don't mean the lawsons/family mart, I forget which it is, but the one that has the Disney stuff in it?

I realized last night that I should have asked, since that's a resort and used very little of my credit. We'll only need 2 nights there, so I should have the full credit to use.

ETA found on flyertalk from earlier this month, no you can't. Understandable but a bummer. I'll just get some expensive cake at the little bakery 😂

Also read a review on someone's blog that says there's two lawsons at the hilton which I don't think is correct, anyone else mentions just the one.

Haven't bought gift cards almost the whole month of June. Was hoping for a Visa promo for this week so skipped the MC's.

Hopefully we will have it for next Sunday.
