I hope this opens before the socal ticket offer is over. I'm still in limbo about buying another pass[I ideally want to wait until coco and avatar are complete,...10 yrs from now lol]. My family loves Soarin'. I like both versions, prefer they randomize it in the future but with the smells that may not be possible. The film for 'world' is bad. 'California' is just so good, so hopefully the quality is up to par with 'america'.

You Might get lucky but I assume the carrot to get people to come next summer will be Soarn and The Mandalorian and Grogu being added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Could we get lucky and them come before sure but also if Disney is smart they are holding those back to get people to pay full price for the summer

I think Soarin America will debut on Memorial Day weekend or in early June. Tickets end on May 21. Memorial Day weekend starts on May 22. Late May/June will be the time when the 250th celebrations go into high gear across the country.

I am thinking it may be around longer than expected. Maybe wishful thinking, since I don't care for the World version. I saw in a "behind the scenes" type article (don't think I am allowed to link) a sentence about the film being created to embody America's spirit for today and future generations.

If it leaves in less than a year, no future generations will see it. Also, note that California lasted about 10 years (at WDW and 15 at DCA) and World has been showing for 10 years. Maybe time for a permanent change. But of course always hoping to see California at DCA Food/Wine.

If it's popular, I suspect they keep it. At least add it to the regular rotation. Seems unlikely they'd spend the money then get rid of it after a short time.

I wonder if the days are numbered for Around the World.
