Yes, you are eligible for the subs. You can double check the terms, but Southwest cards you are eligible every 24 months from when you earned your last bonus. If you’re getting the same exact card it’s recommended you wait approximately 30 days until your new application just so your old card is clear from your account.

We need to book our repositioning flight to ORD. Air France departure is 11/18 at 5:20pm.
Options: arrive at 9:50am or 1:30pm
DH says the 1:30pm arrival, but I think we should arrive early.
The flights are on United.

So excited! Return award flights from Tahiti opened up on Air France for next year. So now we have our departure and return in lie flat business seats. I've never flown Air France but the seats looked way more spacious and comfy than the other air lines' options. Membership Reward points transferred instantly to AF. Now I need to wait for my positioning flights to open up.

Has anyone had a AU go pending w/ Amex? There is an offer to add AU's for 10k points on my Surpass. My DS is now 13, so I signed him up to get it. I got a message that says "Thanks, Amy. We've received your application, but we can't give you a decision right now." I was in Amex pop-up hell, but got out in March (so I thought) when I got the Hilton Honors card (free). I did just cancel my Amex Delta Gold Biz this month, but I've had that card since 2019.

I figured the $1k spend was an easy MSR while I plan my next attack in cards.

ETA: NM, Amex sent me an email it was approved, LOL.

Same here. My first European trip started with a cancelled first leg at my home airport and a 1.5 hr drive to a bigger airport to catch a direct flight. I barely made it.

Totally agree--when we went on our cruise, I didn't want to drive to and from Dulles (traffic from Richmond to Northern Virgnia can be brutal and unpredictable) so I flew from Richmond to Dulles to Barcelona and was scheduled to fly London to Dulles to Richmond. The flight to Dulles was delayed and we barely made the 6 PM flight to Barcelona. Had we missed it we would have been stuck until the next day which would have made me nervous since we had a cruise to get on the following day. On the way back we missed our connection (last flight of the night) and they couldn't get us on another flight until noon the following day so I rented a car. In my case the lesson was suck it up and drive to Dulles. But definitely don't take the last flight of the night--especially with how screwy everything is now.

And honestly I'm sort of at a point where besides visiting dd in Atlanta for Family Weekend, I don't want to fly. The cancellations/changes, etc. are insane and I don't see any of this getting better anytime soon.

On the Dell credits, I'm struggling too. I think I only have $80 or so left. They do have Nest Hub Maxes but not Nest Hubs (the larger ones are $180). So maybe I'll get that in July (I love my Nest Hub--I have one in my office which I use to watch the news on when I'm doing mindless work). I'd get ds an xbox gift card but for a variety of reasons the xbox isn't currently connected to the internet and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Maybe I can find something dd can use for her on campus apartment.

I ended up getting the Google Nest indoor cam so I can watch Puggles when we are out of the house and DS a new PS5 controller. But I still have a bit more to spend.

I will say that the cam is probably my favorite so far. I now know that Puggles is either lying in his cage or by the garage door.

You can also use the Xbox credits at the Microsoft store if there's something you like there.

If this continues as we all think it will, will my old biz login still work? There's no cards on it.

ETA - Tried to log in and it's locked. Says to call to fix so I guess I'll wait. Guessing if I get a letter vs an approval that's also where it would go?

The Barclay Biz have a nice offer. If you haven't been churning lately, you'll probably have luck w/ them. For Citi AA biz it has to be 48 mos from your last SUB.

We used Hyatt points at a Hyatt Residence (windward point). Not close to the fun but a nice spot. I’ve heard great things about The Reach ( a Hilton property).

I would use points and stay Hyatt Centric Key West. I think @tink1970 has stayed there.

I think it will probably apply to the July-Dec. credit since Dell won't charge you until it ships. But who knows?

Citi AA card has an all time high of 75k SUB $3,500 MSR, 48 month earn rule.
Barclays Biz is also at 80k but they have a 24 month close rule, although some including myself have bypassed that rule because the new Biz is a new product, I did have to call the recon line.
