Does Hyatt post the anniversary FNC with the statement or just random? Card opened 4/15/20, June statement closed and still not FNC.

Seem to recall it posts about 10 weeks after your card anniversary, so prob before the end of the month.

I submitted a SM on Chase yesterday to close dh CSP that just had the fee come due. They just left a voicemail on my cell looking for him, saying they wanted to talk to him about an email they received. Any ideas what this might be? He doesn't want to talk. Think they will just close it if we don't call back?

The same thing happened a couple weeks ago when DH and I closed some inks. I talked to them and they just wanted to offer to downgrade me to a no AF option. DH didn't answer and never called back. They replied to the SM and closed his card later that day.

We’ve been in Hawaii the past few days and was talking to my SIL about the SW CC offer. Her husband holds a personal card. I want to be sure I give them the correct info....

can he cancel and reopen a personal card? If so how long to wait between closing and applying?
I’m unsure if she is a AU on his card. Would that make a difference in her opening one up?

I’m trying to get them to open the CSP with the elevated offer but again, I think at least one of them may already hold that card.

Just got the "refer friends" email from Chase today for CSP and it is for the 80k offer, not the new 100k offer. Is this a bad omen that they don't intend to update the referral links? I plan to apply tomorrow, with or without referral link.

he has no open chase accounts, closed United last year
he's an AU on Amex Hilton we've had for 20+ years

Hoping he gets CSR for the 50% bonus for travel.

I have that cup from our last trip, 2 years ago. I actually liked the smoothie even though I didn’t think I would. I had to have that cup. Orange bird is one of the things I remember from childhood.
For our upcoming trip in August, I am making dining res now. 2 days in a row up at 0455 and got nothing we want. I’m sure tomorrow will be the same because I’ll be looking for weekend reservations for Homecoming and House of Blues brunch. Good thing I gave Landry’s Club so Yak & Yeti is not a big deal.

If you can't get House of Blues, check through Open Table. They don't do reservations as far out as Disney's 60 days but they seem to have more availability.

Just logged into to my Hertz account. They have deleted my rental for next month. The reservation is gone. The only thing available is $900/day.

We recently got DD a car and on the credit unions website you can pay by debit card. This is a new to us credit union but I thought great I can use VGC's to make these payments. I've tried for several days to get several different VGC's to go through but each time I get an error message. I've tried registering the VGC's, even though I've never had to do that before, and I still can't get any to go through. Any thoughts on why this is happening or what else I could try? I can just paid it from my bank account but I was excited to be able to use VGC's and get 5X UR's while paying for this car.

No idea but I paid for dd's car (b of a) indirectly through using VGCs but I did convert them to money orders.

Do you have the email confirmation? I would be contacting them with you confirmation info and asking them to honor that price.

No - directly with Hertz. I tweeted and they promise the reservation in still active. He said it is probably a glitch in the system that I can't see it.

The banks can tell based on the bin numbers a real DC from a VGC and block them. You might need to use the MO approach like @havaneselover

That's my plan, they said it is still valid and must be a glitch that I can't see it. I logged in change the credit card information since we downgraded DH's CSR to the CFU, I'll wait a couple of days and try again.

does anyone know if you can drop days from a Disney room only reservation? Because of our dog sitter issue, we are having to completely redo our October, 4th time scheduled trip. DVC is booked solid, so I have to rent out my point and pay the unbelievable cash price for a hotel room instead (wow is THAT eye opening, bless you DVC), and I don't need the last two nights I have booked, but it will only let me add nights online, not remove, it tells me no rooms are available.

I did manage to get HOB at 11:15 and Homecomin' at 12:40 for Saturday. Tomorrow morning the rest of my week should open up and I'll try to get either HOB or Homecomin' for Sunday, then cancel the extra one for Saturday.
I do recall using Open Table for Morimoto Asia when it opened (it wasn't on Disney yet) but it never occurred to me to check this time. Thanks for the tip.

years ago I called and dropped the last night of my DVC reservation....hopefully if you call they can drop the last 2 nights
