Does your county allow partial payments? Ours don't.

There's speculation that you'll get multiples of the offer in one transaction (i.e. $1000 you'd get $50) since it's worked liked that for some other offers that were multiple use. I'm waiting for DPs to come out.

I can pay any amount I want on my taxes.
I will find out, I have a $1600 bill to pay tonight, with no option to split and no MSR so we shall see what happens.

That's the only thing I can think to buy from HD. I really want the big Home Hub for my kitchen.

If I was in my own house I'd get that type of thing but mom has no interest. I'll have to look at their site and see what's on it. Though I may wait and see what stuff will be needed for the house and use it for that. I know the shower head needs to be changed and the shower curtain rod is rusty. Seems better to replace it then to take it down and have them patch the walls. And I'd want that stuff shipped to my house or wherever thr contractor wants. Prob get 1 use at least for that. Then I think they have some decor stuff and kitchen stuff that isn't in store I'll take a look at.

BB I'll see if I can do a physical Disney gc prob, nothing else I need/want.

For AMEX offers shouldn’t the offer go away if you use it? In my saved offers I have the $100 DELL credit but I used it back in August....I see the transaction and the credit...should I try and use it a second time since it still shows up there?

What card is this on? Is this your $100 Dell credit on a biz plat or something else? I don't recall a $100 Dell Amex Offer, but there was a 10% Amex Offer circulating that people were combining with the Dell credit.

Thanks! The $100/$2000 spend part of the retention would be a nice stack with the $25/$500 offer. Hmm. Decisions decisions.

Did you check your Ultimate Rewards dashboard to see that you didn’t get the bonus points? I thought it went by transaction date, not posted date

Similar problem here.....except using the Discover $10 off $50 offer - placed order on 12/30 - but didn't ship until 1/2 which is the posted date on Discover, so not expecting to get the credit. Based on some other posts I have seen online, not sure it is worth the time or stress of the phone call.

This happened to me once with my Freedom. The charge pended a long time and then posted after the quarter ended. I called Chase and the rep awarded the points. You could try SM since you have the screenshot. It's worth a try.

UPDATE: I decided to call since I had the time. The first rep said there was nothing he could do because PayPal posted the charge on 1/1 and I should call to speak with them. I asked to be escalated to a supervisor since Chase was giving the rewards and not PayPal. Waited about 10 minutes longer and a very helpful supervisor said she could only award up to 5K extra UR in the system instead of 6K or she'd have to escalate it further and it may not make a difference. I told her I was completely fine with that and appreciated her time! The full bonus would have been 7500, so I ended up with 6500.

Lesson learned- don't wait until the last day of the promotion to make the transaction! But since a) I've NEVER taken advantage of a quarter bonus on my Freedom card in the 10+ years I've had it, and b)I learned from y'all how to create a PPK to earn the bonus on my Freedom to begin with, then I decided a phone call today was worth it to try. It was indeed worth my time! So excited to continue learning new things!

Whew! Hi It's been a while. We were in the thick of covid craziness with our jobs and then in refi purgatory for the last 6 months, but happy to say we are back up and running with a shiny new 2.75% rate on our house and feeling more stable income-wise. I'm just going to go ahead and apologize up front for my dumb questions since I've been absent.

The CSR travel credit is every card year not every calendar year, right? Want to make sure I didn't lose out.

Is the CIU a decent choice for biz card right now? I remember some hubbub about biz applications being a bit harder to get approved right before my hiatus... anything I need to know?
***f/u to that: I don't get a SUB if I PC a CIP to a CIU right? Has to be a new card?

Keeping RATs in mind, I didn't try another Dell purchase because there's nothing from Dell that I would be happy about buying and NOT receiving the $100 credit. lol

I have close to $900 in capital one venture points. I had many plans for them that are no longer going to happen. The AF will hit in March and I don’t plan on renewing. I have a WDW trip booked for April but am not 100% sure yet if we’ll go. If I make a payment towards the trip with the Capital one and use the points on it, then cancel the card, what happens if I cancel the trip?
Would WDW issue me a gift card, because I’d be ok with that. Or would capital One send a check and if so is that a hassle or does it just happen automatically?

We paid for DH’s WDW AP with our Cap One Venture card in January. AF hit a couple months later and I PCd to the no AF Quicksilver card. All of my reward miles (we didn’t have many left) transferred to that card and the card number didn’t change. Also, when we got the AP refund in October it credited back to the new quicksilver card giving us a $-900ish balance. I asked them to issue a check for the credit and they did. The credit took my reward balance negative but we really don’t use that card anymore- just wanted to keep it vs cancel to help with aaoa since we could get a no AF card.

That’s makes sense....I think I will probably just grab another $100 Xbox gift card that way if it does not credit I will eventually use it.

I’m hoping to figure out a way to do this. I used my Staples/Kroger stack of vgc that way. The first payment is due Monday the 11th and we’re quarantined, so I probably won’t see the interior of a store before then. Is there a rat proof method to buy $500 worth of vgc at a time? I don’t want to push my luck. I’m hoping this will be my big MR year.

I always throw in something with my variable load vgc, an apple or something at kroger. I almost never have a grocery trip that is less than $500, and I use our Am Ex Gold cards most often.
