@ten6mom, I don't remember exactly where you are in Arizona. Any familiarity with Tucson? Wondering if I need a great pool in March or not. Planning to visit Saguaro NP and some other sites in southern Arizona next March. I am not sure how warm March (first week) is and if a nice pool would be a necessity or it is not really warm enough to want to use.
Hey! Not @ten6mom, but I’m also in Arizona. It’s usually in the 70’s or 80’s in March. If you can find a place with a heated pool that may be very nice. Depends on what kind of weather you’re coming from. I imagine if you live somewhere cooler you’ll enjoy some pool time, but for me personally 70 & 80 is still a bit chilly for the pool.![]()
Has anyone done a Well Fargo bank bonus? They are certainly not my favorite company, but I got an offer in my actual mailbox yesterday for a $400 bonus with simple requirements. Wonder if there have been any issues with bonus payouts?
Don’t feel bad! I actually think this is a relatively new development. ( maybe this year) it seems even without EBCI we are getting consecutive boarding positions. That never used to happen. This is an real eye opener for me! I'm ashamed to say between myself and DW tag-teaming the CP for the last 8 years I never knew this. Rarely buy EBCI (a couple of occasions when we were returning from MBJ I recall) but I know I always bought two. I just figured since they were separate confirmation numbers - I'd need to purchase both. Do both of us still have to check in (when not ECBI) or will just one of us checking in secure boarding positions next to each other?
I have hiked Diamond Head and it is awesome!! The view is spectacular! When I go back I will do it again. For those of you that have been to Hawaii and hike Diamond Head, was it worth it?

Thanks. I’ll be coming from Ohio but I’m at the age I need it to be hot to want to swim. I’ll probably save the points and book a cheaper spot.@StephPlum- I agree with what @IFlossU says... if you're coming from cold weather, you might well be ready for some pool time here in March but the average high is only in the mid 70's at that time of year.
Even if you don't swim, hopefully there will be lots of sunshine to soak up! You'll still want sunscreen and/or a hat.
thanksyou can actually get by with zero cash, every place takes apple Pay and cards. I took out 30,000 krona at the airport (roughly $30) just so I could pay for a few small things and get some change back. We have a bowl where we have coins from every country we’ve visited. The exchange rate is much better using a card with no foreign transaction fee.
do you have link to fb group? we're driving around and staying 1 night per hotel so i can just imagine leaving something behind! where is the volcano? We did hike to the eruption site but the day we went all we saw was smoke and steamy lava, not the red hot lava flowing. It did flow the day before and after we went of course. We almost went back our last night but we were exhausted and it was an hour drive plus a 2 hour hike each way.
Must do? Hmmmm, everything we did was so cool and so different from anything we’ve seen before. We loved blue lagoon, seeing all the waterfalls up close, the good food, the black sand beach. Rok is a very good, but pricey restaurant, reservations are needed. In fact, I was surprised how many places did require reservations in Reykjavik.
eta: you may be in luck and catch a glimpse of the northern lights, someone on the Travel Iceland FB page posted a photo where you can kind of see them. Said they haven't seen them this early before.
For anyone going, I recommend joining that group on FB, lots of helpful tips, beautiful photos and very nice people. On our last night we discovered my daughter left her purse in a pub in Vik 2 days earlier which was 2.5 hours away. I had her passport so we weren't driving back for it, I immediately locked her debit and credit cards. Posted on that page and another kind traveler picked it up the next day and is sending it back to us! Her Driver's License was in there so now she won't have to go through the hassle of having it replaced.

We got that same offer and were thinking about doing itHas anyone done a Well Fargo bank bonus? They are certainly not my favorite company, but I got an offer in my actual mailbox yesterday for a $400 bonus with simple requirements. Wonder if there have been any issues with bonus payouts?

We did it in March and I am glad we did.
Thank you all for the replies, I'll put it back on my list. And be sure to go early. We hiked it in June. Be sure to go early. We were there a little before 7 and there was no where to park. Luckily my SIL was driving (and already hiked it) so she just dropped us off. It also got really hot really fast lol
But I’d definitely hike it again when we go back.
We walked to BC/YC and the beach club was extremely busy. Yacht club was a big difference. Boardwalk actually wasn’t bad at all either. The pool was great and not busy. Ds was the only kid in the toddler pool and the only one every time we went on the playground. We also had the arcade to ourselves onceWe had 6 park days this time and by Wednesday I was ready to leave Thursday or Friday and I'm not a toddler (though maybe I act that way at times). It's so flippin hot. EPCOT was less interesting when DS was younger for sure. Plus the construction makes it messy. As for Boardwalk, we haven't stayed there but cut thru to catch bus this morning and was at Beaches and Cream and found those resorts far noisier/busier than Swan. Lots of reasons to dislike Marriottt these days but I'm not sure I'd like how busy other resorts are.
Checked in for flight tomorrow. DH got A35, his companion got A34
Yes, I hadn't checked but mine from 8/10 also didn't count though earlier ones did. Glitch? I'll give it a few days and check again.
Called Geico to request a credit for dd being away at college. Will save me $300/year.
Picked up another $1000 in visa gift cards. Will make one more trip tomorrow.
And getting up early tomorrow to check in for Sunday’s 6am flight to Atlanta.
I did it for my wife and I and had no issues. We did the requirement, got the bonus, and then closed the accounts. Also we could close the accounts online which was a plus.Has anyone done a Well Fargo bank bonus? I don't know, but that's great! How do they know he's Globalist?
