Has anyone been to wdw the week of Labor Day? I didn’t even think when we booked our resort that we’re going right on Labor Day. We’re doing 3 nights from Sunday-Wednesday. If we switch it to Wednesday-Saturday will it make much of a difference?

yes, you need to add them as friends and they need to accept it, you'll just search via email address.

My kids signed in to my MDE account using my credentials and we all tried for boarding groups that way. I am linked to my SIL and I can see her on my account but she wasn't included in the boarding group when I got boarding groups this weekend (she had reservation to HS as well but was not trying for a group). My understanding is that multiple people signed in to the same account won't mess it up. I just keep my finger on the Join at the landing screen where the AT-AT show and my eye on my Iphone clock. As soon as it turns to 7am, hit the Join, then Join, then Join. Don't stop to look, don't read. It's worked for me both times.

Thanks. I have us all logged into my account (I put the app on DSs phone too) but I wasn't sure if maybe a second account would be helpful.
ETA I linked DH and my accounts but I can't find a way to add DSs to both accounts (and have him recognized as on the reservations). I don't see anywhere to allow DH to manage DS reservations.

Is there a place that explains the steps for doing the SW flight change? I understand the concept but do not understand how to go about checking to see if my flights apply or how to actually accomplish it.

Congrats on the house! We are also selling/buying/moving though thankfully not far (all of 6 blocks lol) Our last move was a disaster so DH and I are a bit gun shy. We were originally closing in July for our new house but sellers asked for August. Silly me agreed and am regretting it already. We close on both houses 8/13, we will be at WDW 8/5-8/14 So literally everything we own will be packed in boxes or in a suitcase when we leave for WDW. On our return, we will move 8/16 (although quick cleaning/painting 8/15) and DS starts school 8/18. Put this in the what-was-I-thinking category.

I think most people are in the school just started or is getting ready to start at that point in the year so it's a little slower than you'd think over a 3 day weekend. Of course, that was a while ago and nowadays, given the reduced capacity, who knows if it still holds.

We will see if it sends me over. I'm pretty stressed and DH and DS see little urgency (well DH does but it doesn't make him move any faster). I'm the finance person, so arranging the mortgage, insurance, movers, etc plus the Disney trip and DH finishes work in the evening and just plays on his phone. But Disney is my happy place so hopefully I'll be able to relax before coming back and hitting the ground running.

are you talking about switch to the the week before labor day? If so, I think that week is usually busy as schools don't usually start until the Tuesday after LD. Also, lots of schools in our area have a 4 day weekend during the LD holiday.

I'm the finance person, so arranging the mortgage, insurance, movers, etc plus the Disney trip and DH finishes work in the evening and just plays on his phone. But Disney is my happy place so hopefully I'll be able to relax before coming back and hitting the ground running.

I hear you!!! We were lucky enough to close in June on the place we’re moving to. We close on our sale this Friday. We also moved DD22 to the city on Saturday. DH has contributed a little. I think he just doesn’t get it. I’m so stressed. And he sits there watching TV( flipping channels, reruns). Somehow I’ll get it done but I’m a bit salty.

That is a crazy schedule and makes me feel better about our schedule! Our DD is moving the same week we move but she will be without an apartment for that week. So we have to move her stuff to a friend's apartment, movers load our stuff here, drive 6 hours there, unload our stuff there, drive 6 hours back to move her stuff, and drive back 6 hours to unpack our things! Two weeks later we move our youngest into college. I will be exhausted after all this moving!

If you log into the app, you can easily see it on your flights if they are changeable. (Unless you have a CP tied to it.) Once you know your flight is eligible, it’s just like any other change.

Nope, didn’t use a code for Macy’s wine. That does seem to be the issue. I did use a promo code on my Graham &Fisk canned wine offer, which goes through Vinoshipper, and got the Amex credit for that

Ok, really stupid question here (not CC related but y'all are nicer than the rest of the boards) I have MDE account, and have DH and DS listed because I manage everything. DH has an account but has never used it. My MDE uses his full name, while his uses a nickname. Is it possible for him to add DS and me to his account or somehow link so he could try for RoTR boarding group? Tickets are on my MDE.

If this hasn’t already been answered (I’m just catching up), Just have him log into your account. You can both try from there. It won’t work using his personal account because that is not the “version” of him that has a ticket and park pass attached to it - only the version that lives in your MDE has those. Heck, if DS has a phone, have him try too from your account!

Stopped in to Staples and was shocked to see the $200 Visa gift cards in stock. Does anyone know if these can be loaded on Serve? Unfortunately the grocery stores here don’t allow gift cards to purchase money orders and often ask to see the card after it’s swiped—positively no way to use more than one in a single transaction.
