I might wear as slippers if someone bought for me but not as sandals. And I wouldn’t pay that for slippers for myself. And nobody buys me gifts. Lol. So I guess I’m not getting any anyway.

My dd has a unique sense of style so if all the girls wear them she probably wouldn't. In fact she was having quite a fashion emergency yesterday.

Yeah, I don't see wearing them out of the house. And after years of no one buying me gifts, I decided to buy them for myself from time to time.

P1 only here, but occasionally I will use part of DD's expenses to help meet MSR and then pay the charges using her account. Things such as her car insurance.

In PA if you got your initial license after 2003 you're pretty much set for an enhanced license. For everyone else it can get interesting. For me, none of my docs match exactly. At first there were many reports of agents being sticklers and making you change something first before accepting the application. I have both a passport and GE so not worth the hassle for me to see if the kinks have been worked out or pay the extra $30.

This was me in TN. My DL was expiring so I decided while I was getting a new one I'd get the Real ID. I brought every piece of information needed, my passport has first name, middle name, married name. My DL has first name, middle name, maiden name and then last name. The first clerk said everything was fine (I had all the paperwork to support the names) but the last lady who took the DL pictures said it wasn't good enough and wouldn't allow me to get the Real ID. She asked if I wanted to come back later with more documentation and I told her no. Why would I want to come back to the DMV to get documentation to allow me in federal buildings when I already have ID from the federal government (passport) that allows me to do the same thing?? I understand it if you don't have a passport but there's no way I want to go back to the DMV again.

I think the Real ID is more difficult for women due to the typical name changes that women often have and having all the required documentation that is then subject to the DMV rep that you get.

Has anyone made payments to EF Tours? DD has a school trip next Feb and we have to make the initial deposit on Monday, it says debit or bank account. I’m wondering if I can use a VGC/MCGC to pay.

Please don’t tell the Australians. They already can’t accept the fact that Americans wear the Ugg boots out of the house. Don’t even try to wear them into the Qantas lounge. I can’t imagine what they would say about these I will say they look very comfortable, if they’re your style!

ugh, emergency vet visit coming this morning. My poor girl somehow, completely tore up her toe nail on the way outside. I've never seen anything like it. Part of my is like, NO MORE VET BILLS (we are close to 5 digits in the last year) and part of my is like, yeah, closer to my current MSR LOL.

Yes, if he is an AU on one of your cards that has transfer ability (CSP or CSR; I don't know about CIP but I'd imagine that would work too) then you can transfer directly into his SW account.

If he's not an AU, but has his own UR card, you can do a household transfer of URs to him, however if he doesn't have a CSP/CSR/CIP then he can't transfer URs to his SW account.

He has some leftover RR pts on his RR account that I was trying to figure out a way to use up but since he is not an AU on my CSP nor does he have his own chase card that can transfer URs to SW, I just ended up booking his flight on my points. I think I am going to have to wait until he takes the plunge and becomes my P2. I do not want to pay a fee just to transfer his RR points to my account through SW. Thanks for the help anyways!

No, but just wanted to add that I did one of these in school (way back when...) and so did my brother; totally worth it for a first trip abroad. I've since gone back and done the same trip for ~1/3 the budget but the ease of planning and going with a group that's around your age really opens you up a lot more than solo travel or travel with an SO does.

Poor girl. Dude broke a nail off completely to where it comes out from the paw. To this day we have no idea how or where he did it because he didn't make a peep. My stepdad was visiting me in NC, so dude was probably 4ish, and they came in from going outside and he eas leaving little spots of blood on the floor. That's the only reason why knew. We got some liquid bandaid and used it so it would stop bleeding and it grew back in like normal. I still dont know if his pain threshold is really high or he just hides it. Took longer than it probably should when he had the herniated disc in his upper back for him to make it known he needed the vet.

DS did a trip with them 3 years ago. We paid the initial deposit on debit card, and then had to agree to a payment plan from our bank account - but once the account was set up - there was an option to make early payments and they accepted credit cards - so we paid off the entire balance early to meet MSR on a new card. So whilst I can't confirm that VGC/MCGC would work for that purpose - it might be a possibility.

BTW, they went to Ecuador/Galapagos Islands and he absolutely loved it.

I resisted Uggs as long as I possible could but once I bought a pair I didn't want to wear anything else six months a year. They are like a weighted blanket for my feet (and I have terrible circulation so having warm feet is a big deal to me).

Now the slides are silly but I still want them But I promise not to leave the house in them.

She had more than spots of blood, it was gushing. The quik had completely torn out of the nail, so they are sedating her now, and have to take it off all the way down, because that's how far it's torn. Poor sweetie. She just had her dental follow up last week, she was NOT happy to be back at the vet.

I did the 1 month grand Europe tour when I graduated HS, and went back and did the 1 week London/Amsterdam/Paris tour in college. Both were great experiences

Awesome! I guess putting $95 on a debit card isn't the end of the world, but happy to hear that we can use credit cards for the balance.

Oh wow, an entire month! Amazing, DD is going for 10 days. We'll find out Monday where they are going.
