CIC application update. Received a couple of emails this morning that my credit had been pulled so I checked the status line again. Message still says “no applications in the last 30 days” I am guessing based on @Lain information the status line isn’t working properly. At this point I figure I won’t get an answer until sometime next week.

I went to add my wife’s sister to our upcoming direct MCO flight, however the same flight says “unavailable.” I assume it’s sold out. I went ahead and booked her on a later 1-stop and now have the option to change flight for no cost, so I’ve been checking multiple times per day for about a week with no luck thus far.

Has anyone had luck stalking availability, or am I wasting my time?

I would keep checking... when that happened to us last time the flight became available about 4 or 5 days before the trip.

For a refresher and because I found two different answers when I googled.

For chase referrals does it go by total referral points per card or number of referrals earned before you can't get more until the next year?

If you already have business cards, you can keep checking to see if the CIC pops up in your account

I just applied for the CSP and while I was writing a note to let the supportee know I used one of their units of support, I was notified that Chase was sharing info on a new account with Mint. So I logged into Chase, and the approval must have been nearly instantaneous. Guess I got used to the time lag with the Biz cards.

ETA: I did get the familiar message:

Plan is we try to do free standby at the airport—I read this is an A-List perk but hoping for some magic—or she’ll just take the later flight and get in 4 hours after us.

Sorry...for each card you can get 5 referrals.....if you search Chase refer a friend..it gives examples for each type of card

I don't think anyone remembers, but this happened to me in 2019 with a CIP application. They never thought I had any sort of application in whenever I called. It magically appeared on my Chase log in one day, and then the card showed up, so I guess they approved my application even though they said they never got it.

ETA - at the time, nobody had heard of something like this, so I was really worried, but it all worked out in the end.

DH's Amex Hilton Biz card is up for renewal soon. Anything interesting we could do with this card? DH now has an Aspire, so I can't find a way to justify the AF on this one.

Also can anyone remind me off the benefits of the Schwab platinum. I see Saks and airline credits? Is that it for credits? I thought I saw streaming mentioned somewhere? Is that not the right card?
