i have nothing. no confirmation. no email. I'll be calling at 9. Not nervous at all here. LOL

Its likely delayed but good idea to call. Ask them to provide you the cruise line confirmation number for your reservation. You can then add it on the cruise line app or online and will have confidence when you see it there.
I've booked a RCCL and NCL through Chase and had the same experience (nothing shows online, initial confirmation email took a bit to arrive).

Anyone here an expert on Universal Orlando Annual passes?

With everything cancelled this year I thought we should take a little staycation later this year and stay on property a night. It seems like the Florida resident rates for an AP are pretty cheap compared to a 2 day 2 park pass. Now there is also an extra 3 months that comes with a new pass making the deal seem even better.

I was thinking to do one preferred pass (to get parking on future visits) and 2 Seasonal passes since none of the blackout dates will bother us. This make sense if any experts out there?

Any secret tricks for even more cost savings for AP? Thanks in advance!

Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow to call then. Because I haaaaaaaaate calling. There are "confirmation numbers" in the UR portal for me USING the points, but the links don't lead anywhere with any useable information. I'm even checking my spam folding. I love planning trips, but now I have 3 in the works and there's a lot up in the air with all of them today and it's driving me bonkers. End of August disney trip (split stay and who knows if POR will be open for our arrival day reservation or if we'll get moved and to where) where we don't know if we will even be able to get into the parks. Princess weekend in February and figuring out the best use of my frontier credits for flying down and back. And now this cruise which was supposed to be something for me to NOT have to obsess over since it's almost 2 years away and here it is giving me issues on day 1.

DH was SUPER excited about how little we had to pay OOP for this cruise, so I may have convinced him that churning is a viable strategy for more stuff. Now if chase would just stop denying SPs!

So excited! Was able to snag Grand Californian for 2 nights in early January and will be able to celebrate my bday there! Trying to replace our cancelled Spring Break trip to CA. Hopefully, it will be safe to travel and Disneyland will be open.

On a different note, we were supposed to be leaving for Italy today. I guess we will have an Italian dinner instead? Right now, we are planning to go next May since the girls will be out of school early in the month. It actually works out better and we will be able to stay longer, but all these cancelled trips and uncertainty with travel make planning difficult.

those big strong 'from the get-go' babies can do things a lot sooner than you'd expect.... I had one of each, a more typical baby that hit milestones ate an average age (except for walking, that was 10 months,so early-average) and one that did EVERYTHING too early, all on his own. On your mark, get set,GO!:rotfl2: (my 2nd sat ALONE playing with toys the day he turned 4 months old, crawled at 5 months, walked alone at 8.5 months) a handful to keep up with but so much fun! I wish I could go back and do it again... enjoy your little guy!:lovestruc
I don’t mind him moving on to these next things! I’ve been saying for awhile I’m ready for him to just start interacting with us more. I’m not a huge newborn person. I can’t wait for him to be moving all over the place and talking. I started laying him on his side during tummy time and having him roll over on his own. I’m not sure if that helped or if this was just an accidental thing. Although the other night he was swaddled in his bassinet and Dh woke up to him on his side which is kind of scary since his arms are Velcroed down

No expert, but I have upgraded tickets to APs. You're correct, the pricing for Universal AP is kind of hard to believe. Based on the numbers when I did my research it was the same price as a 3 day ticket. We used UR and actually got four day tickets for a little more because we wanted the option of going to the water park on our fourth day before we upgraded to APs that wouldn't include the water park. I'd even heard of some people getting a refund when upgrading. That didn't happen to me, but it didn't cost anything to upgrade.

And getting one Preferred for the free parking makes sense as well, as long as you know you'll be back enough times to make up the difference.

Perfect! I think I read that the one preferred pass may have a bigger Room discount as well (I may have read that completely wrong though). At $25 for parking along with the other discounts I think we will be able to get value as long as we go 4 times in 15 months.

Just wanted to add that the preferred AP gets you 10% off at ALL park restaurants, quick service, snacks, ice cream store, merchandise, almost every restaurant at city walk including Starbucks and Voodoo doughnut. (Not alcohol though :o) My biggest complaint about the WDW AP is it is for TS restaurants mostly so not much value to me.

Room discounts are the same with any AP, even the seasonal.

No idea what that is :confused3 ...I do know my Costco travel log in is different from my regular Costco shopping login

yes, that's true and I have separate logins for them. I guess I'm going to have make a dreaded phone call. I despise making phone calls..

I haven't seen that error, but I can not log in to Costco without clearing cookies first, every single time.

So weird. I just tried again from home where my password is saved/autofilled and got the same thing.

EDIT!!!! My membership has expired!

Why don't they just SAY that instead of "this action cannot be performed"??? Ugh! But at least the problem is solved and the car canceled.

Thanks everyone!

Are you a FL resident? We are going down next week and my daughter will be returning in October so I wondered how much extra it'll be to upgrade her 4 day pass to an AP?

Was finally able to get DD registered for August SAT so I can make summer travel plans. About to cash in what's left of my AA stash for three tickets to Traverse City, MI for late August. Really looking forward to a vacation. Even if it's just sitting around my parents' house staring at Little Traverse Bay.

Where are y'all staying? We are using our expiring dvc points at BCV and then we move to ASMo (if it's open...). Last use of AP's most likely. We are hoping that we can make the best of the situation.

We were originally booked club level at BWI. However when our Easter trip fell through and we moved the other 4 rooms of family and friends to our dates in July, we moved to POFQ so we could all be at the same resort. Now, they are all cancelling and it's just us going in July. So I'd really like to move back to BWI if possible (not worried about having club level), but who knows if I'll be able to do that. Even if we have to stay at POFQ, I'll just be glad to be back - with restrictions and all.

We still have an adult's long weekend trip booked for Labor Day too. That stay is at Beach Club.

I haven't been able to transfer points from my CIP to my CSR for a few days. On the combine points screen, my 2 business cards are on the left, and one of those same 2 are on the right. There is the square on the right to "add household member/company owner". When I add my CSR using that, it says unexpected error occurred and its been that way for 2 days. There is no way for me to unlink the receiving business card and there doesn't seem to be a way to add another card. Anyone noticed anything like this before I call?

I was playing around a bit on American Airlines today and discovered that they had a seat in first class from London to Toronto on October 2nd (I was supposed to be returning on September 29th). After 1 hour on hold for BA a very kind agent moved me to first class for $50.00 and 18,000 Avios. No additional charges. If this trip works out (if dd ends up in residence at uni in the fall and things in London and Scotland start to open up) then I will be flying to and from London in first class! I am so excited for this trip (that may or may not happen!). I need to add an additional 2 nights at the Franklin on Hyatt points now! Yay! The agent said that they have way more seats in first class on points right now than they normally do! I don't want to get too excited as I need to be confident that it is safe to travel, but it is something to look forward to.

Data point for AA flight cancellations: We had a websaver, nonrefundable one-way flight booked on points, that was booked pre-corona. The flight isn't until end of October, so that's after their policy of free cancellations through Sept 30th. Went into my AA app, and found "Contact American" tab. After all the phone numbers, there is a button that says "Chat with us (NEW)". So I tried it. Wouldn't you know, I had a live person on immediately, she cancelled my flight with no questions asked, redeposited miles and refunded the fees. Said it takes 7-10 business days, but sometimes can be sooner.
For anyone who needs to cancel AA and is loathing calling, this may be a good option! I was absolutely not looking forward to making this call, and didn't expect much either. Super happy with this outcome.

ETA: Flight is already gone from my app, and I can see miles back in my account only 5 minutes after chatting.
