Here come the flood of emails, Just got my first dinning reservation cancelation email... I have a feeling those will be scrolling on in for the next week or so. :badpc: Hopefully they don't send one for each FP+...

Edit: Yeah looks like I am going to get one for every reservation that they canceled last week. Pretty delayed, tho I can only imagine their system is overloaded sending stuff out for canceling 6 months of reservations.

You should!

I’m currently testing a strategy to save about 60% on gift cards (Disney/Visa/whatever) using the CSR & CIC. I will post on DISchurners if it works. It builds off my last post in the Advanced Strategies thread.
I will take a look:)

OK so Delta just issued a refund (well might take 30 days) for our flight to Honolulu, it will go to Chase since I used UR's. What happens then, does Chase eventually put the UR's back in my account, do I need to do anything with Chase?
Haven't attempted AA yet.
I did get an email from Chase that Delta cancelled my flight. It said I would get a credit or refund depending on the situation. Delta issued a full refund, so I assume I will get my UR's back? Anyone have any idea how long it takes them to do that once Delta issues the refund?

Just got my GE renewal approval notification, and no interview required. Three down, one to go. I'm a little concerned that DS's hasn't come through since the other three have gone in birth date order and he should have been the second to get approved...

Woo hoo! DS's global entry renewal approval came through this morning, and all four of us escaped the interview requirement. I am super happy about this since we would have had to travel from Boise to do interviews.

does AA communicate via Twitter DM, or do I have to call? I did everything I needed with Delta that way, and I really don't have time to hang on the phone all day with AA.

When I cancelled Delta Flights with UR's - I chatted with Chase and had them get Delta on the line so they could get the OK to cancel. My points were back almost immediately. Not sure if it is different when going through Delta.

I have 4 logins - 2 Biz and 2 personal.
My daisy chain is DH biz cards to my biz card (CIC) then my CIC or any of my Biz cards to my CSR. I have it down to a habit that I log into DH Biz account first to check things and move any points, then log in to my Biz and move points and then finally to my personal (DH doesn't have any UR personal cards.... YET!).
I'm not sure from your posts if you guys know but you can combine business and personal logins. Just go into the secure message on the business login and there's a drop-down option for combining logins. Mine took less than 24 hours. Then you can easily move the points between accounts. It saves having to log into two accounts.

I have to try this.

I did all my communication via Twitter. Very easy and no phone calls.

I like mine separated. Keeps them straight in my cluttered brain. And, like @Judique said, I feel it's less eyes on my cards, whether true or not.

I get it. A few things I discovered are that you can still access your personal accounts via the separate login but this just gives you the option to also see them all in one place should you want to have that view. You can also sort by just personal or just business.

I’ve got separate accounts too. For some reason my business accounts are separate too so I have like 4 logins and only one is a personal one. I don’t mind because I’m like you and want less eyes on my cards

The only thing is, I understand HIltons in the US are typically inconsistent on offering the free breakfast to Gold HH members, so I am not sure how that will work for this particular property. Having to get breakfast each day could negate any cost savings.

I called another hotel in Colorado that will just be opening this week. They typically offer breakfast, but with the current Covid restrictions, they will NOT be having the usual buffet. They are considering bagged, to-go breakfasts. You may want to call/msg the hotel about their specific plans.

This bums me out. I want to travel but it‘s depressing that it won’t be the same experience.

In the grand scheme it doesn't matter but I think I goofed when I did my rental from amazon on saturday. The streaming credit posted.yesterday so I'm guessing it went to june instead of may. Or is it based off when the charge posted which was the 30th and count for may?

Yes:) And I splurged on an outside room (we usually do inside). Would have loved to do a verandah, but they were $18k for two people. I seriously can't wait.

Yay! And I think you'll be happy to have the views, especially since it's a long cruise. Seriously, it's an amazing itinerary. Sadly, the 2021 cruise is so expensive compared to 2020 - we had 3 in a balcony cabin for far, far less than what 2 would cost next summer (and we didn't have any early booking discount).

When Disney came out with the July 11 reopening date (our original reservations spanned 7/10-7/15), I decided I didn't want to go if we couldn't do ROTR. We had a split stay with the Swan in the middle. I had snagged those 2 nights for 40k/night Marriott pts a long time ago. When I went to change dates to the end of July, it listed a 50k/night cost. I went ahead and did it anyway and when it went thru it still "charged" me the 40 per night.
I've never made a change with Marriott before. Is that typical?
