I called yesterday to try to link our two rooms and they couldn’t do anything but cancel. We have a dvc stay at bcv and then we move to ASMo. Thinking there is a decent chance movies won’t be open and we’re moved to Pop or AoA. Hoping not to be split up.

Disney gift card nightmare. So Alaska (me, dd, ds) was cancelled. I rebooked Dover to Copenhagen for just me and DD (graduation trip). Didn't realize son's fare would get refunded. DD was on the phone because I was on a confernence call. They refunded $1550 to 16 gift cards. But I know I combined gift cards and generally paid $300-$500/gift card payment. So I have no idea where all these gift cards are from and doubt I have all 16. So now I need to get Disney Cruise Line to issue me new gift cards. And Costco has to play middle man. Wish me luck--this is going to be a headache.

So, I got a spoof email from some entity pretending to be Amex. Said my account was locked, click here to verify, etc. Wasn't caught in the spam filters for some reason.

I had checked my rewards when someone posted getting the 20% off on Home Depot gift cards. Nothing.

So, logged into my account and checked again - looked like nothing - until I dropped a ecard in my cart - when I clicked both $100 and egift - the discount popped up and I got a couple more $100 egift cards for 8000 MR's each! Nice! Also, it stated promo starts June 1, so I may have been too early looking last time.

Works nicely for me with all the home improvements going on here.

Thanks for posting! We have the promo too. Lots of house projects here too, and I keep adding more to the list!

Was able to get my Amtrak saver fares refunded. They told me it could take six weeks to see the refund. Still have my Southwest tickets to Seattle because they have EBCI and I can't transfer EBCI to my Christmas tickets because they've already gone up so much in price

I posted a while back I was able to get my EBCI refunded to me in the form of LUV vouchers. Southwest has been quite helpful

Thanks for the update! What value did you get for the converted tickets? Was it the original Delta price plus whatever you paid to Disney?

I moved mine to Thanksgiving, but having second thoughts. Not sure if they'd let me cancel or move it again though. Still thinking about it, so haven't called to ask.

I still have my Delta Vacations Disney trickets. We have WDW booked for Oct, but aren't 100% sure we will go. We can bank the points if we cancel in sept, so we are waiting to decide. Anyway, if we don't use the ticket vouchers by Dec 2021 I *think* the face value remains to apply towards future tickets. I have to look into it further and will definitely update here!

I am jumping on the CSR question bandwagon...
My AF just hit. The card is 2 years old. I was planning on downgrading the card to CFU (I already have CF). I would like to take advantage of the credits and redeem my current UR points for statement credits (offsetting the patio furniture I bought). What is my ideal timeline here? Thanks!

It's $550 and you receive a statement credit of $100. My understanding is there is a lag of a couple days on the statement credit.

A bit of good news on the points front:

Since I had to cancel a Hilton reservation (on points) for March when all the WGI competitions were shutting down, I was able to use them towards (not to cover fully) a three night stay in Durango this August. My husband's motorcycle drill team is tentatively planning to perform at a Rally up there as they did last summer. We would normally stay at a BW because I don't spend much money on hotels, but since Hilton conveniently offers me the "combine points and cash" option (which I think is really lovely), we can stay at a slightly nicer property for less total money out of pocket than by staying at the BW again. The location is slightly more convenient to "downtown," making it walkable, which will be nice. And husband wants to go even if his team ends up NOT performing, just for us to get away.

The only thing is, I understand HIltons in the US are typically inconsistent on offering the free breakfast to Gold HH members, so I am not sure how that will work for this particular property. Having to get breakfast each day could negate any cost savings.

Yes And I splurged on an outside room (we usually do inside). Would have loved to do a verandah, but they were $18k for two people. I seriously can't wait.
