Omg I’m so sorry. I hope he recovers. My grandma is 93 and I can’t even imagineJust stopping by to say hello. Hope everyone here is safe & well.
DH's grandfather has the virus and is in the ICU. 94 years old. It doesn't feel real.
I wish we would get notice for Harry Styles. There is no way out state will allow concerts in July but he hasn’t postponed yet.Just received an email from Ticketmaster that the Motley Crue/Def Leppard tour is postponed. New dates coming (my guess is next summer) so no refunds. I would prefer to have my money back. I already knew my bigs friends reunion weekend wouldn't be happening at this point.
Now I'm just waiting on the cancellation of Aerosmith at Fenway Park. Hopefully I get the money back on that one at least.
We bought BCV site unseen 14 years ago and have never regretted it! Would love to be walking through the door right now.We bought BWV sight unseen. We had stayed at YC and BC, but never BWV. Never regretted it for a second. I cry everytime I walk in the front door.
We just watched Onward and I don't think I’ve cried more for any Disney movie except the beginning part of Up. Maybe it’s that my dad is sick, maybe because I have sons, maybe because my siblings are some of my favorite people. Or just this pandemic. It was so sweet.
Thank you. I’m catching up on the thread now & your little guy is adorable. Just what I needed to see right nowOmg I’m so sorry. I hope he recovers. My grandma is 93 and I can’t even imagine
We are getting to stay at BWV for the first time in July (if all goes well...). I got 3 nights there and I'm so excited!!! Although we are terrified of the clown pool...or I am...think I am the only one in my family who has read 'IT'. I'm still excited to get to check it out though! Not BCV, but soooooooooooo thankful to own at BWV for this very reason! I have never seen BCV at 7 months for any time of year. I love my BWV and have no desire to say elsewhere, but I do check around for fun occasionally and BCV is always booked.
We did pay direct last July for the smallest contract we could but I wanted the DVC pricing for AP's. We saved $2400 on AP's this year. And that will just continue for as long as we get that benefit. But from here on out, we will buy resale as well.In that case no way am I paying direct sale prices.
I posted a few days ago but our (DH) CSR AF posted Feb 1. We used the DoorDash credit and had some stuff booked but now, like you, see no use for CSR. DH called last weekend, it took a couple minutes of buttons punching and then DH was put on hold. While he was in the midst of saying "I'm sure I'll be on hold for a while..." and agent picked up. He was on the phone less than 5 minutes. They refunded the whole $450 AF and pc'd to CSP.

CSP warrants some real consideration. Or CSR...or both if you can manage $8k in MSR in 3 months and are willing to hit a loopholeLooking for some "what card next" advice.
DH did a CIP in the very beginning of March....msr met.
I got a CIP in the end of April, right before they changed stuff. msr is nearly met, still have a month and a half left.
Wondering about trying for another CIP for DH, but not sure I want to deal with everything that might go along with that since he is a sole prop. He despises annual fees. I didn't tell him about the one with the CIP since it pays for itself with the point multiplier for travel. Airline cards aren't really "worth it" for us since we rarely fly. We both have regular freedom cards (i'm pretty sure that's what they are....might be freedom unlimited??) that we originally got about 15 years ago (one to build credit because i was fresh out of school, and the other for DH to beef up his credit score) but we added each other as AUs on those, so idk if we can get another one?
ALSO. I have a flight layover/connection time question since there are so many seasoned air travelers in here. We rescheduled our anniversary trip to the end of August. We will be traveling with an infant and gate-checking a stroller. Our options (not leaving early in the morning) are either a 2+hour layover in ATL, or 45ish MINUTE layovers/connections in ATL or Charlotte or Chicago Midway. Is 45-50 minutes cutting it too close especially since we would have to potentially wait for the stroller?
Just for clarity, that’s not self support. From what I know it’s ALL support on CIPs. It stopped over a month ago and no clicks since April 1st have gone pending. Unsure if it’s a delay or truly dead. The reports on reddit indicate self support points are not posting now![]()
What are you trying to do to me!?!?! Off to the dvc site to see if I can change to another resort
We will be there like 3 days after my bday! That is a terrifying gif.

Our use year is August. Guess I won't know for sure that it works until DVC automatically cancels the reservation a week before it is reserved (in a couple days)What is the use year? They changed that policy awhile back, but as far as I know only for Apr/June use years so far.
Of course mine is October and I have 16 days to cancel and bank, or risk losing.
