I wasn't going to order, because the top I wanted is either gone or I can't find, was clearance but thanks for mentioning the pb&j, I need both so back to their site. And of course I can't get the jelly I want shipped. The one I have expires next month, I'll just wait and go into a Target and get the stuff I need. There's nothing pressing anyway and nothing would be here until Friday anyway so at that point I could just go to the store.

For the same reason I could go in and buy the movie I ordered online for pick up but came back as not being able to be fulfilled. I love Target but they just suck sometimes, especially with online stuff.
We’ve had to be pretty flexible on brands for stuff we buy. Normally I get target brand for things but some we’ve had to buy more expensive brands.

I can now report that all SWA travel funds for all of my family members have been updated/extended in SWA's system and all expire on 9/7/2022. DD and I each have close to $1k in travel funds, but hopefully we'll be able to use them over the next 2.5 years. I will certainly use mine. DD will be a little tougher since she will be at university in Scotland, but with that amount of time, hopefully we can use a good chunk for positioning flights on summer trips in 2021 and 2022 when she will be joining us since we often need to do short positioning flights to a gateway city. Really happy I don't have to call SWA about my funds that expired on 4/1 that were missing a couple of days ago. They are now there with the new expiration date. :)

ETA: Still waiting for the new expiration date on DH's CP....
You aren’t going to covert to points? That’s what I am doing With the travel funds I have once the feature is availabl.

Appears the new united card has launched, United Club Infinite Card. Sign on bonus is 100,000 united points after you spend 5k in first 3 months. $525 AF.

Earn-4miles on United. 2miles on travel purchases and dining. Up to $100 toward global entry or precheck. Other perks-united club membership, premier access travel services, and free first 2 checked bags.

Poor timing to launch this card. I don't think the perks justify the annual fee. Dynamic pricing also make 100,000 points a less than generous sign up bonus.

Sorry I've been talking about labor a lot lately, but I have a question for some of you. My doctor said I can be induced starting Sunday or I can wait until next weekend because she'll be on call then, too. I haven't felt any contractions yet. I'm 70% effaced and only 1 cm dilated. Should I just get it over with on Sunday or try waiting until next weekend to see if he'll come on his own? She's fine with either of my decisions.
I’d wait. I went into labor naturally at 40+5 with my first and 40+6 with my second. Both average sized babies- 7and a half pounds. I think 2 days past due is too soon to induce. I personally was willing to go to 42 weeks, but I think 41 is reasonable. Due dates are really just best guesses.

but I went the hippie midwife, birth center, no meds way. I’m aware my opinions on the matter are far from mainstream.

That’s my plan too. My travel credits are from amex plat credits, so I’m happy to have them as points. Hoping we can use them with my CP again which now expires later.

If your oven has a light that will stay on, put the starters in there with the light on. It will be warm. Particularly in a cold room, I would not feed them as often. 12 hours is really too soon even in a warm room. Give it time to get a bit hungry. How do they smell? Pleasantly sour? It sounds like they're fine, just hasn't been long enough given the cold. Some wheat starters can take up to 14 days. If you stick them in an oven with the light on, that will speed up.

Also, have you tried floating a teaspoonfull of the starter in a cup of water to see if it floats? If it does, it's active and ready to use.

We tried the oven with the light on thing yesterday, but nothing happened. And it got quite warm in there. I will back off and try not to hover so much. Trying to warm mine up is how I might have cooked some of it today. :sad2: I keep forgetting to try the float test - I will do that tomorrow. I saw it online, but I also see that many of them double in size, while mine is right where it was after I fed it and put the rubber band around the jar to mark the height. Sounds like it might take another week. By then it will have eaten most of my flour, so I won't be able to bake bread anyway. :rotfl: I do have some on order from KA, but there are not the normal bread flour that I buy since I can't find that anywhere.

OK, this makes me need all of you guys’ expert advice on this one. I have a Chase United card. Old school one though, the chase United Select. I have always held onto it because it gives 3x miles for United purchases, and I like that for my United purchases.

I have had this card for almost 15 years. So it is the only card I actually pay an annual fee on ($95) as they didn’t waive for military back then and whenChase changed their policy, they didn’t grandfather in cards you already held. But I have kept it and paid the annual fee because it’s my oldest card and I like the 3x miles on United purchases.

This new card seems to give 4x miles on United purchases and better benefits like a club membership and the annual fee would be $0 for me as a military member. I should get this card and finally cancel the Select, shouldn’t I?

Please give me the expert advice/opinions. Thanks!

Since you asked, I would recommend waiting. I'm a big advocate for letting things happen as they need when you can. Of my 4, 3 were induced and the one that wasn't was the best birth of all. No induction, no iv, it was all so natural and almost perfect.
Too funny! I don't think it's runny it's just not as thick as the neutrogena so to me it seems watery.

Weird because I'm not even looking at odd stuff, but if you're getting food shipped why can't I get candy or whatever the last random thing was I was looking for, it was probably sunblock. I'll have to try again and filter it. I won't use shipt since I can get stuff from the grocery store pick up but I was trying to use a cartwheel offer or sale last week but wasn't going to order just one thing so I gave up.
I can't get anything from Target it seems, not for shipping or pickup. I did manage to place an order for 11 items. Those items came in 9 shipments. Would have been 7, but one broke during shipping and was returned/replaced before I got it. Then those 2 items (soap and salsa) shipped separately. The salsa then arrived "opened", the top had popped so I wasn't going to use it. The refund was nice and fast though. It's just about time for me to salsa shop again, my son and I are picky about our salsa.

I'm picky about my lotion as well. I'm using Medline Remedy right now to clear up the eczema, but otherwise lately I've been using DermaE unscented (I suspect it's causing the eczema though) and CannaCell by Andalou Naturals. The CannaCell is chamomile and myrtle leaf, but it's really lightly scented and isn't bothering me.

I’ll be curious to see the value they give points in exchange for travel funds. A few days ago I was offered 1000 points or a $50 LUV voucher for my EBCI refund. A $50 ticket is roughly 3000 points so 1000 points didn’t make any sense unless I couldn’t use the voucher. I would love to convert my travel funds to points, but that offer I was given has me wondering.

I am looking for the more expensive brands, welch's natural grape jelly (my grocery store doesn't stock for some reason) and Jif natural. I get not being able to have chips shipped but the pretzels will? I'm just going to go to Target on Friday and get the stuff we need then it won't be an issue and I won't need to go to Target for quite awhile.

Picky about salsa here too and I have trouble finding one I like past a couple of times eating it. I go the stomach flu one evening and had last eaten a cheese quesadilla with Pace salsa so I can't do any Pace or one's that taste like it. It was ok enough and it'd be so much easier to go back to it but I just can't. And it gets expensive trying all these different types but I also don't need to be eating cheese quesadilla's that much but chips and salsa would be nice.

@Haley R Add me to the wait if you are feeling up to it. I was scheduled to be induced with my third, but labor started on its own five hours before we were supposed to arrive for the induction. For my fourth, I had to be induced because of my blood pressure spiking. It was fine, but a tougher process than my non-inductions.

Also, two of my births were unmedicated, two were with epidurals. I truly enjoyed the process after the epidural. I feel like I remember more from those births and could enjoy the bonding afterwards because the pain was muted. But, truly, do whatever is best for you and the baby. There’s no perfect way to do birthing, just the best for each experience.

TBH, I had completely forgotten about the coming ability to convert SWA travel funds to points. As @IFlossU points out, it will depend on the conversion rate. If it is poor, I will likely keep as travel funds. I wonder if there will be a drop dread date on the option to convert. If not, I can wait and see what my progress is in using them. If there is, or if the value seems good, I’ll definitely consider converting at least DD’s since I am the least confident about being fully able to use those before they expire. I’m a little skeptical that the value will be good enough that I‘ll want to convert all right off the bat.

I just checked and I'm able to get Welch's natural grape jelly with 2 day shipping. I think it must have to depend on where you live. The only Jif natural I can get is chunky.

ETA: I just tried doing it on my computer instead of the app and shipping isn't even showing as an option. It only lets me choose pick up or same day delivery. Have you tried using the app?

Since you wouldn’t be paying an AF there’s no reason not to get the new card. However, I wouldn’t cancel the select card either. When the AF comes due on that one just product change it to the UA no fee card so you can preserve the age of your account.

After reading all of your thoughts (unanimously voting for waiting lol) and watching some videos about the induction process, I've decided to wait. Since I'm only 1 cm dilated I would have to start Sunday night with Cervidil and it sounds like that can cause some strong contractions. Then I would have to get Pitocin the next morning if labor doesn't start before then. It just seems like a lot of medicines and monitoring that I could potentially avoid by waiting. A lot of moms said they had to get an epidural soon after the Cervidil because the contractions were so painful. Obviously if he's not here by next Thursday I won't have a choice. I really want him here now and I'm sick of being pregnant, but I think this is the right choice. Dh voted for Sunday lol. So he's the lone wolf and I think he's only choosing that because we already made the plan and he wants the baby to be here.

Pace is no good lol
I prefer Sprouts mild, we both like Whole Foods mild. Target's Simply Balanced mild is acceptable to us both. When we can't get those we will settle for Clint's, Green Mountain, Drew's (I think that's what it is), Newman's Own and there's one more I can't think of, but I'd know if I saw it. Some of those are probably regional. I live on chips/salsa/queso and I know I shouldn't. It's just such a quick, easy lunch for me, I mix beans or left over taco meat or really almost anything into my queso.

We just closed on Refi on April 3rd. Went through Rocket Mortgage. Everything was done online. They sent a notary to the house and the closing was all done on an ipad. I didn't even think about it and opened a CIP the end of March. They didn't even question it. We ended up getting 2.99% on 10 year mortgage. Probably lower now - but I started the process when rates started going down.

Did you have to get an appraisal?
