My boss has asked that we all keep "core hours" of 8am - 5pm, maybe a little bit more if we need to get something done, but not to let working from home turn into working all the time. I've moved my home office upstairs (usually I work at the dining room table if I'm working from home, but have now made a permanent set up for myself with 3 monitors and everythng), so that is helping me not get sucked back in to do "one more thing".
I’d have to quit...8am wake ups are for vacation only 🤣 I slept until 9:45 this morning. I’m slowly migrating to working the night shift hahaha!!

Just one little thing I noticed that you might want to think about in case of a shelter in place order. Jigsaw puzzles are hard to come by. I’m hoping to run to the dollar store tomorrow for some crossword and sudoku books, but I’m guessing there may not be any of those either.

Well I have to work from home Monday. I asked to stay in my office and I was told we had to at least test. It's just a hassle for me.

DH is already WFH and using my office... so I had to scramble to buy a desk and chair. You can't easily buy things these days because everything is closed - Amazon is only shipping critical goods.

I was able to find a desk and chair at a store an hour away. Ordered for in store pickup and will get first thing tomorrow - we think the lockdown order for Ohio is coming soon. So I need to get this stuff soon before we can't really be out on the roads. And I do not go in to store now anyway. So that was money I was not planning on spending. So yay for my $15k Hilton MSR free night I guess?

Follow up on my Target issue. There were more people there than I thought should be for any time of the day and you could tell some where just there to be there. :sad2: From text time stamps I was in, out and returned cart back in store (it was closest cause I parked by the mall entrance rather than a Target row with return things) and in my car in 20 minutes. And I was annoyed the whole time but that's ok.

I got Frozen 2 with plenty on the shelf so grr on that one. Still not convinced on the PB M&M's but there weren't any of the $2.99 shareable size so I got the party size 2lb bag as that's what they had. I told my this morning when we were doing the online order that there was to be no judgement on this order. Anyway it'll be party of 1 but I need to make sure I don't just keep eating and eating them. The craving lately for them has been real and it won't go away, maybe 2lbs of them will!

They totally didn't have the 3 way light bulbs I ordered on the shelf, so I guess someone really did buy them. But I found different one's for less so win for me!

Was able to add a few more things that they wouldn't do for pick up including 3 cute new spring/easter birds, the little chick's or whatever they are they sell for different holidays. Love them! Found a St. Patty's day one last week which surprised me but he's put away. Also didn't buy anything that wasn't on my list. Didn't get box kleenex but we aren't out yet but prefer Up & Up brand so I wanted to check. Did buy some travel size one's because I've pandemic'd my purse to a cross body without a wallet and didn't pack tissues since my hands would be dirty. Then I sneezed in the store into my elbow! but I needed a tissue. So all in all a good trip but I'm still annoyed that they didn't pull the movie, so weird.

Picked up dinner too and discovered if picking up with door dash there's no way to tip the restaurant which is kind of a bummer. I had 0 cash but they also weren't taking cash for payments so I don't know that the chef that gave me my food would have even wanted the cash.

Then I came home and ordered some stuff from Magic Candle Company because smelling the italian on the way home made me want some park smells while I'm stuck working at home. Don't know if they'll get here in time but I imagine I'll be working from home longer than just this next week. So chipping away at my Plat spend.

Dude's vet, which he has an appt at tomorrow for nails and things, now has people calling when you get there to check in, then they'll come to the car to get the pet, then when done will call to get payment over the phone and give info, then will bring pet, receipt and if you need anything to the car. Hoping it works ok as Dude's already got issues with the vet after having to have back surgery so he will sometimes snap at the person trying to pick him up. Not going to be able to social distance because I'm going to have to hand him over. At least it's more for my MSR :)

And clearly only having my mom to talk with and the occasional work call isn't getting to me at all :rolleyes1 Sorry for all my babbling :hyper2:

Dh bought me a 25# bag of flour at Costco. I'm going to be making tortillas, and bread, and anything else can think of for a while :)
Same! It was rhe only flour he could find. Today I baked pumpkin cookies and challah. I package some up right out of the iven, no touching, and we send some of everything to my inlaws. They haven't been going out. :-(

I honestly need to stop the cycle. I stay up later each night and wake up later. I can get away with starting work at 10am but much later and I could cause issues haha. I just really get productive around midnight!!
I'm similar, I am very productive 10pm-midnight and I *hate* mornings. I do have to get up around 7 usually with kids/work, but we've all been shifting later and later this week at home

10:30 or 11 until midnight is my favorite time. I get so much done because I'm awake and everyone else is in bed. It's QUIET. I've been going past midnight a little this past week and not sleeping more to make up for it. I've designated tomorrow as my lounge day, I plan to hit the couch with my mac and my tablet and play games and read Disney stuff.

I had 5 Disney puzzles in my Amazon cart on Monday and they just started disappearing. I quickly ordered the two that remained and got them today.

Our package store (liquor store for those not from CT) was PACKED about an hour after the announcement. DH ran out to Lowes to get the supplies to redo our patio (ahem, I've been telling him for over a week to order so we could have delivery, too late now) and I went to our garden store that had put a plea on FB for people to come buy stock. I now have 6 bushes to plant, pansies for MIL, and mulch, firewood and patio base stone being delivered tomorrow. Supporting local small business and preparing for my quarantine projects!

He’s in Orlando on Sand Lake Rd ...no golf cards there..lol...he likes to cook and orders meals/stuff online but couldn’t find TP :confused3 In the stores ....
We're a big golf cart town. Dh and I don't have one. We'd rather walk/bike, but it's fun to watch school get out here and see them all lined up to pick kids up. We occasionally have to watch out for bad teenage drivers though

I just ordered a big coloring book from Amazon. I also ordered pool toys for Dh and I lol. I got a pack with like torpedos and dive rings. I want Legos so bad, but they're so expensive! A lot of the sets are sold out or selling from third parties only

I did some deliveries of Irish Soda bread tonight too. Drove an hour to MIL’s and then to my dads. Ding dong and ditch the goods! They were very appreciative.
