I am so sorry! I was checking the DVC site to see if anything was posted. I am sure something will happen with this European ban. What if people can't enter the country for their reservations? I may call MS tomorrow to inquire. It will probably be a LONG hold time!

We called DVC about our trip next week. If we cancel our points will be redeposited like they were never booked, no holding period.

I can chime in on the SW no show/cancellation policy with points, from earlier this week. As recently as Feb, I had forgotten I had speculatively booked a flight so I got my points back for being a no show and a $5.60 travel credit for my taxes and fees.

Thank you! I waited for about 5 minutes the first time I called MS and asked questions, and about 30 minutes the second time after I discussed it with my husband and decided to cancel.

Well, I am sorry you will miss your vacation. But everyone has to make their own decisions and if you feel more comfortable staying home then that's the best decision for you. Did you ask about an exemption for holding points? They are usually pretty good about this, so if you didn't I'd do it asap and try to get them restored.
