I am now back up to 3/24, did the Cap One with a support link from DH. After our security nightmare last weekend, it's time to find a way to get PreCheck and they offer a credit, and we can use the SUB.

We have these Chase offers:
$20 back on $100
$30 back on $100
$10 back on $100
20% back, maximum of $34

We also have the 10% with both of our Amex BBPs. So if we plan to do the $200 Visa gcs can we split the payment? I saw someone mention they were planning on doing that, but we've never tried before. If so, what would be the best cards to use first?

Since we're going to Disney next weekend I think we'll use the $30 back on $100 for Disney gcs. Does this sound like a good plan?

I tried to do split payment once at Staples. The clerk had to call someone to ask how to do it. I should not have used the word split. He didn't listen to how I wanted it divided and split the total evenly. When I tried to question the first amount being charged, I just confused him. He was like "I split it." I suggest not using the word split when you try it and instead telling the person "I want to charge x amount to this card."

Quoting myself here. After hearing a report that the checking account didn't help their applications I decided to go for this...instant approval. Today is sure starting off good, federal tax refund will be deposited Wednesday, great Staples offers, 80k UR bonus posted, and now instant approval on a Bank of America card. I really wasn't expecting an instant approval. Just realized this is my first cash back card. As I said before I'd been looking for something to offset dining costs while on vacation and this will be perfect. Thanks again to all who provided feedback

@afan I was able to get 50k/2k via referral incognito for the Gold! 75k Plat has also been reported inconigto, via referral incognito, and via cardmatch. 100k AFAIK has never come up via referral, just cardmatch. Try old/alternate addresses in card match too and middle vs no middle. P2 got his by using our old address (we had just moved).

Man I wish I could pull up the 50k/2k Gold card offer for my DH. I’ve tried several times with all the different methods and can only get 50k/4K. For me that offer is the mythical unicorn

I am trying to decide what to do in November for the last day of our vacation. We get off the Disney fantasy on Sat. Im not a fan of heading home right after.
I am tossing around heading to Seaworld (can actually use my FNC on my Marriott card around here) or head to Cabana Bay for the day. I have always wanted to check out that hotel but we tend to stay at EP resorts when at Universal. We can stay at Cabana bay and just do the pool and bowling or head to Volcano Bay if the weather is nice.
Kids will be 3, 5, 16. Im leaning towards Seaworld for the little kids and the use of FNC?

We will be spending 2 night before the cruise at Hard Rock/ Universal.

I'm trying to update my shopping portal tracking spreadsheet and just found an unexpected surprise. My purchase of Target GCs that I got when they had their 10% sale in Dec tracked on the JetBlue portal. I did have other items in the purchase, but the full order amount tracked (and was approved). I may have to test out this portal with other GC purchases.

I had staples deals on my chase cards in the past and used them online no problem.

Congrats! I am a little tempted to at least try since MasterCard/Plastiq/mortgage. Do you have an existing Bank of America account?

My hope is to get the hilton via referral on wed/Thurs and then I can go for the plat in june after the 90 days and more spend. Since the surpass is only 3k I could still put some spend on my dl to help keep them happy. The hilton would be a keeper for the grocery, at least for now. I just told the clerk I wanted to do 4 separate transactions, I had 2 of the $30 off and 2 of the $20 off.

Just a heads up. I’m able to get the Surpass to pull up for 125k/2k using DH’s support link from his Aspire. I have gotten it in pretty much every browser I check. I just wanted to let you know it’s out there if you’re able to find it.

Well, I've yet to take advantage of a Staples offer but there is one not too far from me so I checked my Chase offers and I have one for $30 off $100 or more and another one for 10% off up to a $170 purchase.

So to maximize this, I would buy a $100 Disney GC with the one card and... what do you recommend for the other? I can definitely use Disney GC towards my trip this week...

I just checked- between DH and I we have 5 chase business cards. One with $30 off a $100, one with $200 of $100, one with $10 off $100 and two with 10% back up to $17.

Wow to all you folks with all the offers! We have 5 cards between us also, but only have the 10% up to $17 on two of them, and nothing else.

I'm glad we got to stay at the Blackstone in Chicago when we had the chance with a FN cert just in case they get Bonvoyed too. Sad to see the Autograph collection in Europe leaving Marriott. I had my eye on the one in Rome.
