I'm also in 32s. Have been for years. But have you noticed 32s have been getting wider around the waist too? I think the garment industry is playing with us to keep us feeling good about ourselves.

Yeah I'm pretty sure vanity sizing is starting to hit men's clothing too now. Now we can all be disillusioned together

I'm gonna be honest here guys - I'm seriously considering looking at these SW personal card offers. I'm 0/24... this could divert my attention from ::ahem:: other cards for 6 months while I see how that one plays out...

I have the CP until the end of 2020. I was going to have DH wait to go for 2 cards to time getting a CP at the beginning of next year. But maybe I’m going to consider one of the personal ones for him sooner too....decisions, decisions....

Is it worth it to do one of the SW cards if you never fly with them, will never fly with them & would just cash out for Disney GC?

It looks like the most recent personal offer would end up being "worth" $650 or so, which isn't terrible, but I'm not sure I want to give up a 5/24 slot. (The business version would be "worth" $525, but I definitely don't want to take 90 days "off the cup" for just $525.)

Of course, I just applied THIS MORNING for a SW Personal card to finish my CP. When I get the card, I will DM them to see if they will match. I hope so, but if not, it's not the first time I've missed the ideal timing and I'm sure it won't be the last either. At least I'll be getting the CP.

DH just got it about 2 weeks ago. And met the $1000 the day we received it. I might SM them also. I'm pretty sure he (I) used a support link from myself.

But basically I want to leave myself the most flexibility possible for future cards. 1 of each leaves you with the least flexibility moving forward.

You would have to do the two personal as an mdd right?

I have a cp through the end of the year, but now considering talking DH into it. He’s 0/24. 1 chase business card in the last year, back in August.

Yeah - that’s the caveat for two personals. So you have to have the stats to support a MDD (which he does). And of course once you get just 1 personal you lose your ability to MDD for 25-27 months depending on when you earn that bonus. (Assuming Chase doesn’t change the rules to something even more restrictive in the future).

I think you have a great resort and room after all the discount info! I never stayed at POFQ, but the size alone makes it extremely attractive. The rooms also recently had a refresh

AKL is a beautiful resort, but it kinda feels like it is out on its own island. If we were talking about an Epcot resort or WL for that price difference I may change my tune.

I jumped over to the resorts section and checked out POFQ and saw a post about them having ceiling fans and box fans on request... Texted DW and got several "YES!" GIFs back. I think that just sealed the deal.

This is good info. I hate sleeping without one--I think I'm suffocating. Even in the winter with my heavy down comforter the ceiling fan is on high.
