For those of you interested in Bank bonuses, @miztressuz took time to write up in awesome detail about Discover, Chase, PNC and Schwab. Definitely worth a look. Many thanks to @miztressuz . This info is on the dischurners site under Walt Disney World Tips.
Thanks! I just did the Schwab in case I decide I’d like to cash out MRs in the fall when my Plat fee comes due.

A brand-new Chase branch is being built downtown, the first in this area, so I'm looking forward to a hopeful good account bonus!

Look and see what they have sold for recently and what the selling for.
project for today! I just figured ,b/c I'm so frugal that my purchasing has come to a complete halt (other than groceries) I assumed everyone else was the same.... but if not I'll be happy to sell those cards to someone!

I am absolutely furious! I just got a collections letter for my FIL. I am taking care of his bills. I sold his house in March and asked for his final utility bills to be sent to me. I paid them as they came in. Well, apparently I was late paying his water bill (I paid about 3 weeks late) and here's the collection letter from a 3rd party collection agency. But the bill is already paid AND it's still less than 30 days after the due date. I'm not too concerned about his credit rating given his circumstances, but I don't have the mental energy to deal with stupid crap right now.

That's ridiculous, especially considering the current circumstances. I thought a lot of places were waiving late fees given the coronavirus and people potentially being unable to pay on time. I'd call and ask. Still really frustrating that they already sent it to a collection agency!

@pillow @havaneselover Have either of you gone to the Midlothian Costco recently? I am eventually going to need to more toilet paper and would like to stock up on a few other items as well, but don't know what their stocking up looks like/protocols for entering the store. I can't get anyone to answer the phone there.

I'm not even sure whom to call. I am not calling the collection agency and what's the point in calling the utility? I've already paid the bill. I'm going to write to the collection agency telling them the balance on the account is 0. We will see what happens.

So fun facts while we wait:
- 50 entries
- Earliest Time- 9:00 am (4/25)
- Latest Time- 7:23 AM (4/26)
- Lightest Weight- 5 lb 3 oz
- Heaviest Weight- 8 lb 6 oz (I threw out @SouthFayetteFan’s wild guess as the owner of the survey)
If that baby weighs 24 lbs I demand a recount!!!

Cmon - it was in honor of KOBE!!

We've been catching up on a few more recent Disney movies we missed seeing... watched Inside Out last night. Great movie! It has layers. Like a onion.

No, I shop at the West Broad Costco. But here's my experience there (I go pretty much weekly). Usually there is a line wrapping around the side of the building which takes me 10-20 minutes to get through. Before you go in they tell you what's out of stock. Once you're in, it's easy to get around since there aren't that many people in the store. Paper products have been hit or miss at mine. Last Wednesday they had Bounty paper towels and Kirkland tp. Checkout is fairly easy. They tell you which lane to go to. They take your cart, scan your membership card through plexiglass, ring everything up and you are done. The person checking receipts is also behind plexi glass.

I'm exercising my inner senior today....woke up around 6:00am and prepared step 2 of @hsmamato2 sour dough recipe. Hit the road for my run / stair workout. Came home and bread was ready for step 3. Did my weights, showered and decided to do some quilting while waiting for the bread to bake. I have no clue what has possessed me to take up quilting, but it's really pretty and I find it quite relaxing. Once the bread is ready I have to pop over to Michael's (curbside pick-up) to grab the mini cake pans I bought to make dd's b-day cake (she turns 18 a week today). I'm feeling a bit old today!

Thanks! I might try to make a run over to Midlothian sometime this week. I'm not out of toilet paper yet, but would like to go ahead and grab another pack before I get too low and don't have any options. I haven't seen any in Publix or Kroger near me since 3/13. One of my coworkers said she's had good luck with paper product availability at the Wegmans in Short Pump too.
