Did you actually apply on Friday or apply earlier and receive the 7-10 day message upon checking your status a few days later ? Very curious because I’ve seen nearly no approvals for business cards from applications on 4/16 or later.

I applied on 4/15 and didn’t call until 4/17 and got the 7-10 day message. Maybe I got in before the change on 4/16 but strange I got 7-10 day and then was approved.

I'm trying to figure out the SW travel fund situation because I want to use our Hilton Aspire airline credits, but of course nobody knows what's happening right now as far as planning future trips. If I bought a ticket now for September and then ended up not being able to use it, do we know how long those travel funds would be good for?
It looks like the last extension update deals with travel funds created by cancellations up to Sept 7.

According to the Southwest website if you cancel a flight scheduled between now and September 7, 2020 your travel funds will expire September 2022. So if you book a flight before Sept. 7th and decide to cancel the credit will be good for 2 years.

OT question. One of my adult daughters is on my MDE account. She doesn’t have her own MDE because she hasn’t ever gone to Disney without me and I always planned everything. Well, she is planning to go next winter and i made a reservation for her with my DVC points. She wants to make plans etc and have her own profile. Would that mess anything up for her since I already have a profile for her on my own account? Trying to avoid a call to Disney if I don’t have to make one.
It shouldn't mess anything up. You can go into your MDE and invite her to plan with you by clicking on family and friends > update (next to her name) > share planning with "name." It will ask you for her e-mail address and send her a link to create an account. Then instead of managing her you can view her plans and she is automatically connected to you. I think it is much safer doing this than having her create her own account and then attempting to connect it with the profile already in your account. Less messy to initiate it from you.

I got a Barclay JetBlue Plus card at the end of January. Reached the $1k MSR immediately with a JB airfare purchase. A few weeks back I realized those flights might not happen and I could get a refund, maybe, which could put the SUB at risk. So I made sure to put another $1k on the card before 90 days and just hit that milestone today with about a week to spare. It helped that I did not immediately cease spend on the card as soon as I hit the MSR. I always try to overshoot a fair bit, just in case charges get reversed, and I also figure it might help if they have algorithms that check if you immediately stop all spend after the MSR.
I had something very similar with Bar Cray Cray. Part of my COVID19-cancelled trip met my JetBlue biz MSR. Once I found out the refund amount, I overpaid the same amount on my cable bill. Got a $0 statement balance and it made me feel much safer knowing there would be no negative repercussions. Bar Cray Cray isn't petty like Amex, but I didn't want to risk it!

Wow I took a bath and came back to chaos!

Oh, and I made 24 chocolate chip cookies today. I probably ate half of them already. I’m not even upset about it

We have been doing too much baking here lately. DD and I are working on a sourdough starter, too, since we are home all the time. Tonight we made a small batch of chocolate chip mini muffins and they are all gone now. :rotfl:

Dh sent a SM today to cancel his CIP. We’ll see how long it takes for them to get back to us

They never got back to me. I finally managed to get through to them on the phone today (gasp) and got it cancelled.
