A few questions for people using Serve:

1. Has anyone had any issues using the Serve website to pay a mortgage or other bill? I just submitted our mortgage payment, which I can't do online directly through the mortgage company--I get charged a fee even to debit from my checking account. I know most people just transfer the $ from Serve to their bank accounts but it actually would be helpful if this (submitting the payment through Serve) really works.

2. Does anyone have a Bluebird account in addition to/instead of a Serve account? It seems that the Bluebird works just like Serve except that it can only be loaded at Walmart. Anything else notably different?
1. I've done both, mortgage went through without any problems. I paid it a few weeks early just to make sure it got there in time, but I think it actually took about a week. I actually use the bill pay feature all the time, just pay the credit card from the Serve account. Again, I give myself plenty of time, but that is much quicker. Payment usually posts within 3-4 days.

2. I got Bluebird accounts last month when I ramped up my MS to get the Hilton free weekend nights. You are correct, it's exactly like Serve except you can only load at Walmart. I got five cards over the course of a few weeks for DH and myself, and have activated two for myself just like Serve. So I have 2 Serve and 2 Bluebird activated and using at the same time.

I'm starting to plan for next year and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas about which airlines to put for the Amex reimbursement credit. This year I had American on the gold (which I managed to use up) and United on the platinum, which I still have $130 left (I will buy 2 lounge passes this week just to get something). I need some ideas.

We are going in Feb but I’m looking to do an express pass hotel for Friday and Sunday nights that way it will give us 4 days. Haven’t figured out where we are going to stay the rest of the time. The crowd calendar and others have said it will be busy.
Our park days are 12-16, looks the weekdays will be okay. I figure if Saturday is horrible we'll just spend more time at the pool or get our Outlet shopping done! Even with points, I just couldn't get myself to pay for the hotels with Express Pass!

Looking also at my Marriott points, as I have a half million or so, plus 5 free nights.

I've got 4 DVC vacations booked in 2020.
January - 11 to 19 including drive down and back home - with my GD's at BWV and HH.
February 10-21, mostly at BWV - leave home on the 9th and return on the 22nd.
March at Hilton Head in a 2 bedroom for spring break. Not sure when we will leave or return but we are there starting on the 15th. May stop in Charleston for a night. Or even Myrtle Beach where some friends just moved and would like to have us visit.
November - Oct 30 to Nov 7 for Food and wine staying at BWV.

Plus a couple or three of beach trips to Ocean City Maryland in summer...
This leaves me starting to plan for 2021. And the Marriott points/certificates.

I am thinking of doing something in Florida for a couple of weeks in February to coincide with family being at their house in Reunion. I want to book a few DVC nights but make it mostly a Marriott trip to knock out some points before Marriott devalues them completely.
So, I've decided on a circle tour. Down the east coast and up the west coast back to Disney by President's Day. This is a thought, and all subject to change but there are quite a few interesting properties to look at.
I am planning to use quite a few of my Marriott points in AUS for our stays in Port Douglass (outside of Carins) and Surfer’s Paradise (Outside of Brisbane). They are both Sheratons. DH has a free night that expires in Jan that I am hoping to be able to extend.

Dis meet up? We are there 2/13-17. @3 DD love princesses, I think you are there that same weekend.

I typically go with SW but since we are currently in Economy for the West coast to the East coming home from SYD, I might use for PE. I think that is allowed, correct?

I love how fast support points post for AmEx. Approved 12/19, posted 12/22. I've got three already. One to DH for his BBP, one for DH Biz Green, and one to a friend for Hilton. Even though the SUB for the BBP isn't that big, with no annual fee and the 15k support bonus it's been a good card for me. I'm not ready yet for the big AF cards, and with P1 and P2 we should get about 150k MR for BBP and Biz Green each. Hopefully AmEx continues to like us and I can get more next year.

DH's BBP SUB just posted as well. 4k was property taxes and 1k of VCG at a grocery store and a few other miscellaneous charges.

I'd like to air my grievances with Chase for no longer allowing Disney bookings (old news) and AA for the stress and panic they've caused. On a related note I'd like to thank Bar cray cray for denying DH and potentially keeping him safe from the AA mess.
Whoever thought we'd be thanking Barcray!? I'm in the same boat, thanks to denials I'm only at 2 AA cards.
Blessing in disguise!

Honestly... (and I have to give @PolyRob partial credit for this from our chat last night)... I blame CHASE and DISNEY for the AA miles mess for many of us. AA miles weren’t even on the radar for a lot of us until Chase had to go and wreck URs for Disney!! BOOOOOO Chase and Disney!
HAHAH Who wants to sue Chase for damages regarding AA?! Maybe a class action suit?! (I have no idea how these things work 🤣)

For some reason my girls do really well with the Star Wars universe. Perhaps it's because they are able to really separate the fantasy from reality. I honestly can't explain it.

Oddly enough, my younger daughter is terrified of the monkey in Toy Story 3 and we can't watch that or she gets nightmares. Go figure...a 6 year old who has watched every Star Wars move without issue can't watch TS3... They can be very strange sometimes...

My worry about Togo would probably be related to some sort of animal related violence - like if it was at all like some of the scenes in White Fang where animals are fighting or attacking humans. I could see that getting in their heads.
There isn’t any animal violence like that in Togo. Some of the dogs get mildly hurt but nothing too gory
