I found some options for hotels in Orlando that we could potentially stay at and have availability on Chase. I'm still not quite ready to book one yet since most of them are non-refundable. Has anyone stayed at any of these?

Yes. Somewhere in there, you have to confirm the $amount (press YES), and decline the cash back option (press NO - believe me, press NO, you cannot get cash back from the VGCs I speak from experience).

I tried on Tuesday night lol. I can confirm as well that it does not work!

I'm just now getting around to looking at the Delta vacation packages. Seems like a pretty good deal if you haven't flown Delta in 20 years and have Delta miles sitting around like I do I was too busy to keep up with the chatter when y'all were all discussing this a few days ago. Did we ever get an idea what this means:

"If you cancel your reservation, miles will not be redeposited into your SkyMiles account. The SkyMiles account holder will receive a Delta Vacations voucher for the value of the miles at the time of they were applied to the booking as payment. "

Yes you will have to pay a penalty on the flights I think it’s around $200.

ETA it’s a solid deal and I think youhave MRs laying around? I smell an @wendow trip to Universal!!

First MR card? It takes a few months. If you have MRs already it posts in a few days.

That used to be true (first MR card takes two statements for MRs/SUB to post), but wondering if it still works this way since Amex changed points to posting once you make at least a minimum payment on a statement?

Just got a call from Grant at Plasiq and he said if I push through 2K in payments he can lower my rate to 2% (will either get back a check or FFDs - I chose FFDs). Might give more if you have more to pay. AND they pronounce it PLASTIC. All this time I was giving it a french twist plastique!!!

It isn't open yet so we only have the model rooms and renderings to go off of, but I do think it looks very nice. It will have two actual queen mattresses in a studio which is new for DVC (besides OKW) and is on the Skyliner so Epcot and DHS will be more convenient than bus. I plan on doing the character breakfast and signature dinner at Topolino's in the spring so it would be really convenient if I could secure it for "free." I just don't want to deplete all those URs when I imagine it will have high discounts until the resort is fully declared. May honestly be better off waiting for a discount and cashing out URs to cover discounted Disney gift cards if it leaves the portal.

For me, the location doesn't justify the price tag. It looks beautiful, but I would need a good deal to stay there.

make sure u buy the newer revised Switch. they are worth getting over the older ones.

So, you'd pay $200 penalty on the flights but then get back your Delta points at the 1x value or 2x value? I understand it's a voucher.

I knew in my head that it was 'plastic' like paying with plastic BUT because they have the q at the end, I pronounced it like the French would for a really long time lol. I'm recovered now but I bet I said it that way for a year and even a few times unconsciously typed it 'plastique' on here

I think if the skyliners can move people as quickly as Disney says they will, it might warrant me wanting to stay there. If the skyliner is like all other disney transport, and takes forever to get around, then I have a fairly low interest in staying there.

Sooooo yesterday we stopped by Safeway and I got the MCGC deal on my account. I just pulled my app up now to see if the coupons were gone as they should be... and they were there for me to add again So I did. Will see if they are still there when we get back next week to use...

On one of our accounts, the Safeway app does not remove the coupons after use; they just stay added even a day or days later. But when I tried to use a one-time use coupon again, the register didn’t apply any discount since I had already used it.

On one of our accounts, the Safeway app does not remove the coupons after use; they just stay added even a day or days later. But when I tried to use a one-time use coupon again, the register didn’t apply any discount since I had already used it.

So strange just one does that. I've never not had it remove coupons on either of our accounts before. I'll decide after we get back if I want to try again...
