Ebates question - DH tried the MR one and it was a strong "no" since they wanted access to our accounts. How does the cash one work? Can we get it without giving them all our info? And if so, is there a preferred way to sign up?

Is this at the Columbia Mall? We don't do pick-up but I will take DS to PF Chang's (his favorite restaurant of all time) and then just run into CF for the lemoncello cake to take home for dessert.

Annapolis. I'm closer to Annapolis, but oldest DD is close to Columbia so I am usually referring to one or the other.

Ebates CB is sent to you either via check or PayPal about a month and a half after the end of every earning quarter. I don't believe you have to give them access to your PayPal account (just your username), but you can also just have them send you a check in the mail. Check the DISchurners MISC support links page for support offers that I think should get you a new member bonus (after you spend some amount of money in the first month)?

Thanks, Lain. I'll check it out. I'm hoping we can sign up this weekend.

ATTENTION MICKEY WAFFLE FANS!

The Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary Double Flip Waffle Maker is IN STOCK at HOT TOPIC. It's currently marked off 20%, at $59.92 (which is cheaper than shopDisney's price last week). Limit 5.

You can sign up for their email newsletter and get a coupon within minutes for 30% off. Any promo codes don't stack with the 20% off price and will replace it, but a 30% off coupon is a better deal.

You can buy a Hot Topic gift card in the exact denomination of your purchase on MileagePlus X to earn 3 United miles/$1, plus 25% bonus miles if you're a United Visa cardholder. You can also buy Hot Topic gift cards in fixed $10-$250 denominations on Gyft and that should still earn 3x UR on the CIP and 5x UR on the CIC/Ink+ when using PayPal checkout.

Remember to use a shopping portal for extra cash back. Ebates is paying 2% CB/MR.

If you missed buying one the last few times on shopDisney, here's your chance. If you're reselling, no judgment from me because we all have our "business" to run, although I expect the inflated resale prices to drop in the short term due to the restocks at shopDisney and Hot Topic.

Off topic but of intrigue to Disney Park fans following SWGE stuff DL is having a rather quiet day today according the the DL side of our boards.
That’s really surprising!! Wow, I’m shocked.
Someone from TP posted on Instagram that the park is empty outside of SW area, so I'm seeing similar reports.

I am usually over on the DL boards instead of here, plus I have the AP pages on my Facebook. Everything is fairly empty and even SW:GE is not insane from what I am seeing. Makes me wish I had tried to get a reservation after all. However, I would not want to be there starting June 23 or 24 or whenever it is! I'm staying away for awhile... or so I keep telling myself.

Yes, I got my first "Big Fat Check" of MR points deposited to my Amex account earlier this month. 19k and some odd MR points! (I went through Ebates for that big Casper mattress purchase, which boosted my balance.)

Nice! I'm sorry we can't do it, but maybe the cash back will work for us. (DH says he saw a big sign for Rakuten when dropping off our DD at SFO last weekend - guess they are local now :rotfl: )

Oh no! I always hear such good things about Hyatt but don’t recall staying in one. I think you’re in Japan now, right? Which Hyatt and what made it bad? We are staying our first two nights in Japan at the Park Hyatt Tokyo that was booked with UR points transferred to Hyatt.
This Hyatt was the one right next to LAX. I bet the ones in Japan are much cleaner. There were nasty stains all over our couch and floors. Basically just stains everywhere.

DH's CIP#2 came today! I am just getting started on my Citi AA Biz and now I have the Bonvoy offer. That is a whole lot of spend. Hopefully we didn't bite off more than we can chew. Thankfully (?) we have some larger medical bills that will help.

I guess that means we'll be keeping his CIP so we don't lose those referral points. I'm really excited that the CIP#2 worked! Can't wait for all those URs!

Just wanted to report that I did this exactly as you described (minus the ebates part) and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip!
