Hi all... I don't know if you'll remember, but I posted here briefly back in October. I had every intention of participating but shortly after... my little Havanese puppy got sick and I was caring for her round the clock for 6 months before we lost her in February. She was my little shadow for 13 years and I miss her a great deal.

Spring is always a lovely time for new beginnings and with the nicer weather I'm beginning to think again about next year's travels. (This year's are already planned - Sept. in Hawaii and December at WDW:)) . @Albort You have my attention with the MLife>>Hyatt status thing. I'm a HUGE fan of the Grand Hyatt on Kauai, so you've peaked my curiosity, however, I am not a member of your Dis Churner's group (or reddit at all for that matter.. that place scares me! lol) Still... I've read back enough to know that I should ask for an invite and maybe finally learn the ins and outs of reddit. It seems I need to ask your great benevolent Dictator @SouthFayetteFan ? :worship: . I also read about @Haley R ! :rockband: Wow... so much cool stuff coming up for you!!! (Does that sound totally stalkerish cuz when I read it back, it does. Oh well. lol Do what you will with me, Budget Board rockstars.)

I have always been an Amex girl. Amex bought my Beach Club Villas contract (Charles Schwab, how I love thee), sent my husband and I and all four of our kids to Hawaii and to WDW two times each, introduced me to the fabulous Waldorf Astoria Orlando , pays for a monthly dinner "in" with my husband, and pays for lots of lovely little things whenever I stay at a Hilton (which is pretty often). I've focused solely on MRs since 2016 BUT... I suddenly find myself in possession of the much coveted CIP about 14 months sooner than I imagined ever possible. (thank you thank you DOC, you are my hero!) . So now... I need you people to teach me how to do Chase. And maybe, just maybe...

how to do life, without my puppy again.
Oh, gosh. I'm so, so sorry. I get it. We lost a bichon Summer of 2017 and my Havanese is 12.5 and I'm treasuring every day and can't imagine what I'll do without her. I'm actually in charge of my ex's havanese for 8 days as well--that one might do me in! They are such sweet, funny dogs. Sending you hugs!!!

Thank you.. I so appreciate that @havaneselover . Sharing a picture of her for you. She was my lap-churner... and she knew every one of my secrets. :)

@amalone1013 Thank you so much. I posted two pictures of her. One when she was a bit younger, with my oldest son. And the other... right before she left us.

It’s the pink one with the Disney snacks.
This?

I really wanted the stuff they had at Disney Springs my last visit but they only had a backpack (I would look like a silly old woman with a back pack) and wallet (I don’t want to hide it in my purse)

I have a weird obsession with Disney snacks considering I’m a dietitian. My lab coat at work has a Mickey shaped tomato pin.

We have an LP store at a local mall and... wow. It is BRIGHT. Hopefully I don't offend anyone here by saying this... but it's cute clothing if you're under the age of 7. At 30, I don't need to highlight certain areas of my body in neon pink...
There’s a VV Outlet in Williamsburg that I am trying to figure out how to get back to before school starts in the fall for DS’s uniform pants. (Unless I can get them at a decent price online.)

So sorry for your loss. Our pets are the best. Unconditional love.

She was a beauty! Here’s mine. She’s a teddy bear. Don’t think I would have survived my divorce without her. A081E092-2FEC-456E-A17D-CA17191FA0D5.jpeg8CC169DC-0D39-436E-8E0A-B6A0FF18CECE.jpeg

They really are. @CyndiLouWho Can you tell me how you add a photo directly to the body of a post like you did rather than attaching a file?
In the reply box, lower right corner is a button for “upload a file”. It will let you pick a file from your computer then adds it to the message. You can click thumbnail or full image to add it to the body of the message.

Thank you all! Thanksgiving next year would work well with our other vacation plans. June I'd have to give up something. Have an Alaska cruise booked for next June and was thinking Italy June 2021. Though it'd be nice to make it a longer trip and do Universal as well. But weather should be better in November than June.
I would take November Capri/ pants weather over June "OMG who built a sauna at DW?" weather. ANY DAY!

Italy in June sounds great!

Pack rain gear for cruising in June to Alaska.

That’s the one. The new food merchandise is so cute but I haven’t bought anything yet. I really like the coasters tho.

Found it, thanks! :)

I came across this one too. Don't know how good it is, but I thought the black color coding was funny - "Don't blame me", "so many people you can't hear yourself think". :rotfl:

November would be a lot better for weather in my opinion
