I have no idea if this would post in time or not but all I came up with was Amazon reload possibly?

Thanks, I did try that too and it's been a few hours and it's showing under "pending" but with no posting date. I'm afraid it might be the bank itself that doesn't post things on weekends? I guess if I don't get the $300 bonus then I'll try to talk them into giving it to me since I tried to fulfill their terms but ultimately it's my fault for putting it off til the 2nd to last day. I never know which banks treat purchases as of the date of the transaction vs. the posting date. Seems to me that Amex honors the date that you make the purchase as counting (like for Amex offers or the $10 dining credit). Chase doesn't -- I bought Costco gift cards online on 12/31 and I did not receive 5xURs on those. I suppose the take home lesson here is to make sure purchases are done 3-4 days before you absolutely need them to count. Bummer for me. I appreciate the suggestion though!

And were you happy or mad about the outcome... Be careful, this answer could define our friendship :P

Well I’m really a Knicks fan but that isn’t going well for me. SO roots for the Warriors and I was a fan but with Durant joining it’s just ridiculous so I want them to lose. But I really do not like harden and his flailing to the basket. And I think I hate him more than I want the warriors to lose, so I guess I’m upset?? lol but I’m not really invested in either team.

Way to be wishy washy...:P Cleveland = closest team to Pittsburgh, so I've followed the Cavs very closely over all of Lebron's seasons so that probably tells you what I think of the Warriors...

Also, the way Durant left OKC...let's just say I still haven't gotten over it and have absolutely no good feelings towards him, lol!

Yeah not really a fan of Durant. I hope he doesn’t join the Knicks lol. It was fun to root for the splash brothers in the beginning but it’s just ridiculous. I also hate Steve Kerr and his pompous attitude when he has the easiest job in sports. But I also don’t like Harden lol

I love Lebron and was hoping the lakers would do well this year.

Gah - stupid "overnight Saturday" website maintenance. I'm in the middle of booking all my room options for our Hershey trip and apparently it's time for Marriott's weekly maintenance. Don't they realize who I am...and that I like to do these things late at night!!! LOL!

EDIT: that was short - back up after just 15 minutes :)

Couldn’t we just use our CSR on vacation? (If we meet the CIP MSR before then)

With the CSR, you’ll earn 3x UR on dining and travel, and 1x UR in everything else.

During the MSR period on a new CIP, you’ll earn a base rate of 17x UR on everything (80k UR SUB + a minimum of 5k UR on the $5k MSR, + an additional 2x URs on travel, shipping, internet/phone/cable, etc. —> 85k UR/$5k = 17k UR). Note that this only considers the 80k SUB and URs from MSR, not including the 20k UR support points too.

The CIP doesn’t have 3x UR on dining, but if you put dining towards the CIP’s MSR, you’re earning a minimum of 17x UR.

Again, just sayin’.

Happy Saturday all! I'm procrastinating on cleaning my apartment before we leave for our LA trip on Monday. We are so excited! I don't have an MSR to work on right now so I'm trying to figure out what cards to bring on this trip. Between me and DH, we have:

- CSR
- CSP
- SW Biz
- SW Priority Personal
- CFU
- CIP
- Amex BBP
- SPG Biz
- Amex Plat

We are flying SW, renting a car from the UR portal, staying 2 nights in a hotel from the Chase UR portal and then 5 nights in Marriott hotels. We still need to pay for food/drinks, Ubers, miscellaneous (e.g. parking) charges at hotels, and admission to places like the Page Museum and the WB studio tour. What cards to bring? I am thinking:

- SW Priority - can use credits for plane drinks.
- CSR - for dining, parking and hotel charges. I've still got about $100 left on my travel credit.
- Amex BBP/CFU - for miscellaneous non-bonused spend (CFU in case Amex isn't an option)
- SPG Biz - because maybe it will get us perks at the Marriott hotels? IDK about this one...
- ???

Thoughts? I would love feedback on any earning opportunities or perks I'm missing. And I will be sure to add hotel reviews on our review thread!

Any Centurion or Priority Pass Lounges at the airports where you’re traveling? If so, the Platinum or Priority Pass cards.

I did another survey on that stupid commercial yesterday and said it was bad. Wanted me to watch it twice with sound :sad2: did once just in case of specific questions but I'm not suffering more than necessary.

I’ve trolled their social media. It’s so bad. I cringe when hotels thank me for being a Gold member with Marriott Bonvoy, especially after what they’ve done to the elite tiers. Stop trying to make Bonvoy happen. It’s not gonna happen. #bonvoyed

Sadly no - there’s only a USO lounge at HOU and the PP lounge is currently closed at SNA. Don’t think they’d be open during our red eye flights anyway. Good thought though, I hadn’t remembered the lounges!
