Does Marriott no longer allow you to book on points and have those points deducted from your account later? I just went to book a 9 night stay for October and it's 100,000 points. I have those points in my account, but it didn't give me the option to wait and pay with them later. Is it because I already have the total amount needed?

I just threw up a little with the mention of Chris Farley...went to school with him. Not a fan. I realize people think he was funny but he was not a nice person.
We generally watch the opening skit and move on these days!

That's what it seems like. I wanted to do the wait and deduct later...for when the free night(s) show up but it took the points right away. It did allow me to reserve what I didn't have points available for. As long as it's refundable, it shouldn't be an issue.

I will admit that I liked Jess, or more like the idea of him. He had too much of a chip on his shoulder when they dated. I always wanted them to have another go after he got things figured out when he was older.

Has anyone used the Biz Plat Dell credits? I ordered some nice ear buds for ~$100 (going in some lucky person's easter basket), got my $10 amex offer credit, but I haven't seen the rest of the charge be reimbursed. I did add the benefit to my card. How long does it usually take for those credits to show up?

My credit posted about 3 days after the purchase in January. Hope your credit posts soon.

Seems like it. I just booked a room last night and the points were immediately deducted and I didn't see an option to wait and pay later.

Yeah, like they seemed like they were pretty compatible deep down but at the time he was obviously not dealing with his personal stuff well. And then Dean being around being a jerk about losing Rory never helped (and made me hate Dean lol). I always liked the difference with Luke and Jess' relationship as he was older too, and what they showed in YitL

I’m going to try and catchup but haven’t been around since my Mom passed away suddenly and is with Dad in Heaven.
She was 91, still living on her own in the house we grew up in...she was blessed with a long, healthy life and was exactly where she wanted to be at home so for that we are grateful.

So glad I had plenty of SW points and was able to fly my son on them vs a $1,100 airline ticket

I'm so sorry to hear this. I can only hope to say that I was able to live such a life, that is incredible!

Sadly, I just assume that’s most actors, especially comedians. Saying someone is a nice guy in Hollywood seems like a special moniker.

I was assuming this new change meant you can no longer book the hotel on points if you don't have the total number of points needed in your account at the time of booking. I suppose I could do points/cash, but I'd hate to get stuck with a bunch of cash nights if it won't let me go back and apply points to the booking as I earn them. I know @Haley R mentioned she ran into this issue recently on a Hilton booking.

They were messing around with flights times and numbers about a month ago. Both my flights changed by a couple minutes and the flight numbers changed. I accepted the change and then a week or so later the flight numbers changed back to what they were to start with. I've no idea what AS is doing. I've had more flight changes on these two August flights than in my past few trips with them combined. It's weird.

Honestly I would call AA and see what they can do. Know the flight you're good with that just changed numbers and the flight you'd prefer and see what they say. Since they didn't change it automatically like they should have you might be able to get the other flight, hard to say but I've always had good luck with changing flights around after changes, granted it was with Delta. It can't hurt to ask, worse case you'll end up on the flight with the new number that you should have been on to begin with if they'd been paying attention.

Ah, now I feel not so crazy knowing they actually did change the flight number That's around my time frame too, flight is first week in Sept.

I figure it's worth a shot to play dumb and ask to change it to the better time. If it's easy, great! If not I don't want to mess with it so hopefully they just have to click an "accept" button for the 4 minutes earlier flight

Strange observation about my CIP approval today...

I found out because of the Chase - Mint notification that I received. Basically I told Mint to update with any new Chase accounts. Then I called the automated status line after rolling out of bed to confirm. The weird thing is I don't have any other biz cards so my Chase profile is personal only. My CIP isn't appearing in my Chase account OR on Mint... So somehow, Chase's back system knows I got a new card, but I can't see it on my Chase profile, the Chase app or Mint, LOL! Just a weird observation...

So your CIP won't show up on your personal profile - you'll have to *gasp* call and have them merge (so that your personal Chase CCs show up on your biz profile), if you want them all on the same page. I personally prefer mine under one login, keeps my spreadsheet to DH tidier (in case anything every happens to me and he needs to know what the heck is going on!) I know others keep them separate though!

I'm not familiar with Mint, so I can't comment on that!

I think it got bad after Tina fey left as a writer. Amy poehler kept it going for a bit after with Seth. Now it’s not really the content that bothers me but how are these people actors and actresses and laugh during their skits? Also, that stupid sketch with Kate McKinnon and the alien abduction is not funny.

Oh, also I think the host makes a big difference too in how the show goes. Adam driver was the host recently and he did a great job. Adam Sandler is coming back May 5th too and I’m excited lol

I think the only skit where I could forgive them laughing was the Debbie Downer at Disney sketch (with Lindsay Lohan). Oh.My.Gosh. I can't believe they kept it together as much as they did!

I watched clips of Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) as the host - I thought he did well! But I may be biased because it was fun to see him do something besides brood and know nothing
