@Lain I did hear back from 7 customer service about the gift cards. They actually emailed me back Fri. evening but I kept forgetting to post about it. Here is what they said:
"Thanks for contacting us.
We are currently out of stock of physical gift cards. This item will be available March 22.
Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help!
Thank you,
7FAM Support"
Sounds like it is going to be too late to use the Amex offer(s), but I figure I'll check a few times this week to see if maybe they return to stock earlier. It also seems weird that they are blaming it on lack of stock of physical gift cards when their website also sold electronic gift cards....
Yes! I got BC for $259 through a Priceline Express deal for when dh & I are in WDW this end of this month! We were booked at CBR and I was trying hard to find my excitement but was less than thrilled. I just wanted something more for a couples only/no parks stay, yk? Just happened to look last night and there was a Disney deluxe. I was pretty sure it was Epcot area or AKL and it was BCI missed this! Was it on the Priceline thread
Not that our thread is the place to discuss it, but is everybody aware of the rumor of PAID FP coming to WDW soon. (ie potentially in the next 2-6 months):

For those with trips coming up, I’d stay in tune with this.

Better pick up some MSRs first lolClub 33 is looking better and better![]()
What's with this style of house where the garage is out back instead of the yard? I see TONS of houses like that near the Independence school. I would hate that. Instead of a backyard there is a garage in the way and a road out back.
Any thoughts on this? I think I know the answer but thought I’d ask LOLSo, I really want this 80k Delta Biz plat. I am maxed out at 5 branded cards, but my Delta Gold has been open for a year as of this weekend. Fee has not posted yet though, my statement looks to close around the 21st. Do I wait it out and then close and apply for the new? Do I apply for the new now, knowing I won't get it, but when I call them, ask if I can close the Gold to make room (this happened with my BBP and it worked out)? I could really use that $100 Delta credit like ASAP, so I'm itchy. And I have taxes to pay, they can wait until 4/15 obviously, and I can just pay for what I need to with Delta now and save a $100 gift card for a later time if necessary.
Looks fantastic to me. Note to self: check back yard tomorrow for gold vein unearthed by all this rain.Club 33 is looking better and better![]()
Being Amex I’m edging toward rolling the dice & applying now because what’s the harm in a denial? They only hard pull sometimes & this would avoid having a closed card on your record at time of application.Any thoughts on this? I think I know the answer but thought I’d ask LOL
Thank you! It's already feeling a lot more fantasticGreat find! I hope you have a fantastic trip!
I didn’t know you used to be a teacher. The testing really is getting ridiculous. Why should we be teaching first graders how to test so often instead of how to have social skills
@calypso726 - I don’t know how you do what you do! I am always super impressed at your ability to make (at least to me) complicated trips seem simple and just make things WORK!Yup. I’m still am a teacher. I just don’t teach elementary kids anymore. Now, I teach CPR First Aid and OSHA safety classes to adults.
Don’t get me started on everything that isn’t taught in the name of taking a test that measures nothing.
I’m an excellent test taker. I’ve always been able to get an A on almost anything. Asking me to explain and apply the subject matter a few weeks after the test is a different ball game.
In other travel hacking news from my corner of the churning world ... We got a notification today that our award flight on AA that was secured via BA Avios was cancelled. This is our positioning flight from MIA to JFK in order to catch a flight to Scotland. The flight they rebooked us on was arriving later than the original. We had already purchased non refundable tix on one of “The Ride” experiences. So that wasn’t going to work. I checked to see if there were earlier flights but no dice for anything direct on a saver award. I was thinking they would not be able to rebook us on another flight unless there were saver tix available. I was happy to find out I was wrong. I called and after what seemed like an interminable hold we were able to get our flights rebooked for the evening before instead even though there weren’t any saver awards. I guess when they cancel the flight on you they can force award availability on the rebook. Good to know. Now I have to find a hotel for the night. Sigh.
That's awesome!!! Staying at BC will be so much better than CBR especially as an adults only trip. Have fun!Yes! Yeah I'm not a fan of that at all. We won't be looking at any of those houses. I know getting a yard is tough in that area, but I've found some houses that have a pool and STILL have grass space. That's interesting to know why they're built like that though.Yeah most neighborhoods have alleys around here. There's a bunch of houses near the school where the lots were going to be apartments or townhomes and then the housing market crashed and several years later they built single family homes and they had to squeeze them onto a townhome lot. So they have zero backyard, just an insanely long driveway going to the alley.
We are in a townhouse with a detached garage. It has a nice fenced in backyard between the house and the garage that our cats love hanging out in. We have a huge green space out front that we spent today playing frisbee on.
I totally understand that. I've always been really good at tests because I can cram the night before and I have a pretty good photographic memory, but it doesn't last long. If someone asked me something later, like you said, I'm not sure I could give the right answer. Some kids get so stressed during tests when they're timed and I feel so bad for them. That's why it's good that some schools have started standard based grading and kids don't have to meet the standards until the end of the year. It's more of a progression of learning rather than they need to know this THIS week and if they don't they're way behind. Instead, they have the whole school year to work on the skills to meet the standards. It still isn't a great system, but I'm seeing some progress.Yup. I’m still am a teacher. I just don’t teach elementary kids anymore. Now, I teach CPR First Aid and OSHA safety classes to adults.

Our current house is like that. And in house shopping we are focusing on more neighborhoods that are planned the same. Aesthetically speaking, It looks so much nicer not to have driveways and cars in sight when you look down a street. Also Never have to worry about a car blocking a sidewalk or backing out over your kid riding his bike down the sidewalk. What's with this style of house where the garage is out back instead of the yard? Weird random question..... I would swear I had a cruise offer on a couple of my Amex cards that's different than the most recent one, ending 3/31- but I can't find them anymore! I had added them, intending to research at a later point...am I crazy here? I also got one of the more recent ones... which I can still see
