I break into song ALL the time! lol Probably drive people around me bonkers because I can't sing. Well, in my mind I sing awesome, but thinking in everyone else's mind, not so great. Random words will trigger songs with those lyrics to come out of me. haha I love musicals. But at least you like Grease!

A comment regarding AA shutdowns...
If you frequent r/churning or Flyertalk, you may have seen reports circulating of AA shutdowns. In general most of the chatter around this is accusational, void of any facts, and generally not helpful. However, it does appear that people are having their AA accounts shut down or at least placed under review - mostly due to creating multiple AA accounts with the same address.

Mind you, this is an AA Shutdown...NOT a Citi Shutdown...

At any rate - you might consider reading up on this on r/churning. Also of note, a previously mentioned strategy to generate additional AA accounts with the same email was mentioned on our AA thread on DISchurners. I have responded with my own personal disclaimer on that. See that here:

To be clear - if you were not creating tons of AA accounts in an effort to secure mailers this likely does not apply to you. On second thought...maybe you should read some of the recent stuff on that FlyerTalk thread... Not to learn anything but just to see how completely stupid people can be! Oh man, the accusations are phenomenal. People that have no idea how any of this works just spouting off about how people had it coming. It just confirms all of my reasons for not going on Flyertalk! It definitely drew a laugh out of me though!

Dh and I went to a newborn care and breastfeeding class tonight. The teacher mentioned a lady who ate just cantaloupe and her breast milk had properties of cantaloupe in it so naturally I mentioned the friends episode where Susan says it tastes like cantaloupe juice. I got some weird looks...

I like what I like... hate most "art" too unless it's Van Gough, Matisse, Monet, Michelangelo, or photography. Musicals are the worst though-well except for opera which is just histrionic musicals where everyone at least considerately dies. Clearly I don't mind living in the backwoods where there is no culture!

Spent a lot of time playing with the DVC site this morning. Got another night for next November of my standard view at BWV. I'm getting each night a day or two later and I hope that continues for the rest of this week. No stress anymore as you can see the nights are already gone for the current day before 8am. I didn't think that was possible and have never seen it before. But if enough people have things locked in, that's what is going to happen. I don't see this happening anywhere else except possibly AKV concierge rooms - only 5 studios and 5 one bedrooms there. But so far I'm getting what I want eventually and I have 8 nights booked so I'm not hurting. Now, it is just adjustments to get exactly the 'right' nights at the end of my trip. Strangely BCV is intact - all rooms are available.

I also adjusted my January trip. I'm now in a Boardwalk view studio for all my nights, and I leave there and spend 2 nights at Disney's Hilton Head on the way home. It's 39 days to go and I'm still trying to add an extra night at Riviera just to try it out. Have a waitlist in place for that but I'm not expecting to get it or anything on that night - January 11, 2020. Would probably book a night at most resorts if one popped up. But I think there's one of those marathons that weekend? Maybe? I don't keep track. Anyway, this worked out from maybe 5 resorts and I got my nights by stalking - I did waitlists but they didn't happen, except for the one night in February that came before I left on my November trip.

And in February - blew that into a trip starting Feb 10-21 - 11 nights, mostly at BWV.

Marathon weekend is that weekend. I had to piece our vacation together and ended up on the nights of the 10th and 11th at the Gran Destino Tower to try it out. Only 29 days left for us!
