Does anyone have issues with cash back portals and ad blockers? Ebates put this giant banner across my screen that my ad blocker is preventing cash back. I could disable it for Ebates, but I am just curious.

Yes. You will have to disable your adblocker on certain sites. You can usually set it to always allow on this site so you don't have to do it everytime.

I just got the "Get up to 72,000 Plastiq Fee Free dollars ( FFDs)..." email from Plastiq so it seems that's rolling out over time.

I was really hoping for a 1% promo but I guess this will have to do, haha!

Same. I'm wondering if I didn't get the 1% because I do actually use Plastiq consistently. Cheaper to plastiq my HOA than pay them directly directly and I refuse to auto-debit.

I got the 72k deal on both accounts. Mine which has had somewhat regular activity and my wife's which hasn't had any recent activity. So I'm not sure that's the reason

A guy apparently tried to sell a random redditor 100k Marriott points... and he didn't get paid. Read through some of this - it's a little strange. Basically - don't try to sell your points to random people on the internet. It's probably a bad idea.

Given the new possible information that I have not read on Reddit yet (a little intimidated from last night LOL) how many AA points would you have left? Is it worth depleting? I think that redemption to a room is higher than the GC valuation.

The day bed is most common and it is a red couch that folds forward. Not a real murphy bed or full sofa sleeper, but large enough for a child. If you have a room with 5 people I would hope GF would honor the occupancy for sleep surfaces. I have stayed at the GF the most out of any MK resort and have always had the couch with as many as 4 and a little as 2 adults in a room. Theme park view rooms has the same "issue" with room configuration so I am curious the portal it is guaranteeing the extra sleep surface?

As far as my stash of AA miles they are effectively useless for flights since we are #Deltahostages. I have 140,000 miles; some from Barclaycard Aviator Biz and rest from the Citi Business 75k sign up bonus. Since they are MasterCards I made spend on both cards entirely with Plastiq and mortgage payments. So other than the $95 fee and the Plastiq fee (which was reduced this summer as part of a promotion) the miles did not cost much money or effort to gather. I actually linked and set up cashing out on points.com today. Plan was to just cash them all out on the Disney gift cards but then spontaneously thought I would check with AA and GF came up. I have managed to grab a theme park view one bedroom at BLT for that Saturday night. I hate to use so many points for just one night, but rather than chance dealing with the room redemption and it not being right or some mess up with the AA booking it seems that more value would be in using points at BLT and cashing out the rest of my AA miles. At this point I don’t plan on accumulating anymore; but it is an option at least.

For anyone wondering what this guys recourse is- there isn’t. He can’t get Bonvoy to claw the points back because admitting he sold them would be a program violation. Unless he has nothing to lose then he can try that I guess. Burning the user’s Reddit name is the only card he has to play...

Oh you got another DVC room? That is great! You could always use the gift card you redeem from the AA miles to buy some one time use points since you are close enough if you want to keep/bank some BLT points for the future 11-7 month stays!

Working at 3am today, tomorrow, and Sunday. DH is pulling a 12 with me today, since he has a lot to catch up before our trip next week and now has to go to Reno on Monday (my day off, I told him he obviously doesn't want to spend time with me ). This morning I had cash back monitor up on my phone.

Oh, I remember a story I was going to share. The other night I was talking to my cousin's wife about a family wedding, you know, the one I haven't gotten an invitation to yet? And she asked if we were going to drive or fly... I said drive for now, because I haven't had a chance (or remembered) to price anything out for flying... Does anyone have a specific travel wallet they like? I'm debating... Remember when I went on my travel bag shopping spree? The bad news is, I missed the return window on two bags that I bought locally. The good news, they were only $25-$30 each?

Anyways, neither of these have a built in wallet section, and I am pretty sure I will keep one for non-Disney trips. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions/one that they really like? I remember @Haley R's for her Japan trip, and am looking at that too.

The bag I went with Disney trips has a Velcro flap and one of the patches is half pulled off already though, which annoys me. I contacted Travelon today to see if they will do anything.

I *think* the series recap is airing on PBS the day before the full opening (19th?). Can't wait to see the movie!

Off topic, but I just made FP this morning for our November trip. I got one for the new Epcot Forever - I never usually get a FP for that type of viewing but am excited for this one. Also as a side note really looking for to D’Cappella performance at Eat to the Beat concert. They are performing just one night and I watched a clip of them and they are great!

Coming out of longtime lurkdom. First, a HUGE thank you to all of the generous members of the this thread for sharing their knowledge and experience with everyone. I’m regularly amazed by the thoughtful and expansive answers you all provide, even when you possibly answered the same questions before. I’ve been reading since the old thread was young and have enjoyed the chit chat and banter—it’s truly a community of caring friends that you have here. One of the things I enjoy most is reading how you all redeem the points you accumulate— I am inspired by your stories and hope to experience some of the wonderful destinations that you do. I’d like to join the reddit dischurners group to be able to possibly use support links, keep up with the news and read about “advanced techniques” even though I’ll probably always be a very slow and cautious churner—my P2 is not just reluctant, he’s pretty much adamantly opposed, lol. @SouthFayetteFan would you please PM me so I can join?
