I love credit cards so much! v2.0 (see first page for add'l details)

Learned of a minor hiccup in our rewards earning plan today. Was hoping to use CIP on a tuition payment, but school only takes AMEX, MC, and Discover.
We don't need it to make MSR on the CIP, but I don't want to waste such a significantly valuable organic spend!
If I had to pay it today, I would use my Cap One Quicksilver (1.5%), but I'm wondering if there's a better option.
I'm currently 0/24; P2 1/24 (5/19 Cap One Savor)
Not really sure we want to enter the AMEX world of MRs just yet.

DH does have Marriott, SW, Hilton & Hyatt rewards points, but no co-branded cards.
Any suggestions?
Why not get MRs? How much is tuition? The Biz Plat is 100k for 10k in spend. That’s $1250 cashed out.

Don't forget the Amex Biz Plat earns 1.5x MR for single transactions $5,000 or more.

The first time I saw the water pageant I was eating dinner at Narcoossee's. I had heard of it but had never seen it. I was so excited and ran out onto the verandah to watch. I was giddy like a little kid! I love it!

Thanks for this, I need to lose about 30 pounds and might give this a shot. I recently tried Keto and didn't like it.
I also tried keto and gained weight on keto. I hear that from a lot of women (half the women at my church are on keto lol). It works great for men but if you are a woman and have any hormones out-of-whack (and I'm pretty sure I do), keto is no good. I do better with low fat/low carb. The high fat of keto just makes me gain.

Like @disneymagicgirl, I think I naturally have a pattern of a long fast b/c we eat dinner at about 5-6 and then I eat 'breakfast' at about 11am. I do have a snack before bed though (which I need to either cut out or make a better choice - last night I ate pita chips with my boys while reading to them lol) and I have coffee when I first get up so it's definitely not a total fast.

I come from a family of TX people who eat a big bowl of ice cream every night after dinner. Thankfully I did not inherit that gene. They are all overweight and diabetic.

Are you interested in the grAAvy train? How much is the tuition?

Does the school charge a fee for credit card payments? If so, is Plastiq at a 2.5% fee a better option, especially if you want to pay with a Visa?

And how much is tuition? The amount of tuition could help decide which card with how big of a MSR you'll want to get.

We were just at the DMV and holy cow they seriously do not care about your time. We made an appointment so got in right away but our lady was the slowest person ever. Dh is standing there with work clothes on so obviously he needs to get back to work. Now he has to stay late because she took so long. Every other employee there kept asking her millions of questions too.

And another thing: she told me she likes Disney better than animal kingdom.

Ok, thought it was just me! Everyone was raving about it and I was following it correctly but didn't lose any weight at all. I do think I have a hormonal imbalance too so this makes sense.

My dh & I did it for about 4-5 weeks. I gained 2-3 lbs and he lost 5 (he doesn't even need to lose any pounds) He ate a lot more fat than me. I tried but could only eat so much. Like @MrPTato said, I felt terrible on keto.

Coffee is ok as long as it's black. Though there might've been something ok to add. But water and coffe don't count. I don't drink coffee so I only paid part attention to that part if the book.

I don't have a sweet tooth but I need something like that for salty and crunchy cravings lol!
I eat baby carrots with a bit of salt for that. They're my go to. But I also love doritos, tortilla chips, and potato chips. Ugh. And the funny thing is Sweet Defeat makes sweet things with salt in them (think Reese's peanut butter cups) taste completely salty and unsweet. It's weird.

I used to be a runner, all through middle and high school, college and into adulthood. Then I tore my ACL snowboarding. Even after lots PT, it's never been the same so I rarely run for more than 5 mins. If I do, my knee swells and it's hard for me to climb our stairs :( I hate aging!
The problem for me is any other kind of exercise is boring to me besides running. I like playing sports but it’s not like I can do that every day. I’ve tried walking, elliptical, and the bike and they’re all so boring

@Lain is Uber credit banking still working for you? @mmmears and I are having issues (it worked for me last month) :confused3
I haven’t tried recently, but I also haven’t seen any negative DPs. I usually find a way to use it every month. This month, we used it to get from SNA to the Disneyland Hotel.

Just found this:

Tagging @mmmears.

That’s exactly what I’m experiencing. I tried booking a future scheduled ride that would use my credits plus the $15 Amex credit and it still didn’t move my Amex credit to Uber cash. I can’t play around with scheduled rides from home so need to wait until I’m in the office (it’s available in that city).

I’ll search around further.
