This thread moves so fast with tons of great information! I’m coming out of lurkdom again with 2 questions.
1. Last month I got a letter from AmEx (Blue Cash Everyday) saying they were basically cutting my credit limit in half because “there has been minimal activity on your account in the last 12 months.” This is true - I basically only use the card for the offers, because it’s not a huge earner. I don’t have plans for future AmEx cards at the moment, so no reason to be concerned, right?
2. I can’t believe I’m saying this, which goes against every post I’ve made in the past, but I think I’m ready to look into a business card!

I was thinking about the CIC card for the 5% for office supply stores, internet, cable, and phone services. Is there a post on the steps to applying for a business card that I could refer to? Can I transfer the points from the CIC (if approved) to my personal CSP? I use all of my UR points by transferring them to SW, so I want to know if this is possible. Any other tips I should be aware of?
Here are my current stats:
CF 12/07
UPromise 12/12 (sockdrawered)
AmEx Blue Cash 8/14
TD Cash 8/16
CSP 7/17
CFU 4/18
Disney VISA 9/18
Disc It 9/18
BoA Cash 2/19
I also have a couple store cards, but the most recent opening was 2013, so I don’t think those matter. I’m not a churner, I actually use all of the cards (except the sockdrawered one) based on the best category or offers they have. I’m just thinking the CIC would get me the best benefit for the 5% categories without an AF.
Thoughts? Can I apply now, or should I wait since I have 4 cards opened in the past year?
