Totally :offtopic: except that I found a way to pay tuition via CCs but I am so glad we are moving DS to private school in the fall. It is absolutely the right decision. Apparently, the kids are now making fun of him for being younger as he just turned 12 while the other 7th graders are 13 or will be shortly. This is due to him being a bumped up a year from kindergarten to 1st grade. I thought he was upset because I wouldn't get him a pug but he finally broke down on FaceTime after 30 times calling me to tell me he wasn't going to school today and told me the real issue. He even asked to repeat 7th grade so he wouldn't stand out again at his new school. My heart is breaking for him. Middle school kids are so cruel. Just 37 more days to get through...

Idiots. 7th grade really is the worst!!! It doesn't matter what the "thing" is, kids will find any stupid difference and make a big deal about it. We had our daughter in private school in middle school - didn't stop the stupidness, but the teachers were on top of things pretty quick when they got out of hand (not that that helps with teasing/exclusion/gossip and all the other middle school nonsense that seems unavoidable.) My daughter really wanted to go back to public school for high school, which was fine with us. She thinks the kids at the private school were awful, but I'm still sure the overall experience was less awful than the gigantic public middle school would have been for her. I'd guess that most of the kids she is now friends with were idiots 2 years ago, she just wasn't there to see it!

This is unfortunately not a travel credit or “travel eraser”. You can use URs to book travel thru the portal and Disney hotels/dining aren’t an option. (You could potentially get tickets thru a backdoor link which we could help you with). Good news: You absolutely could use URs for Universal tickets.
The link I had for tickets for Disney is no longer working. I haven't seen anyone else post that they've used it in a while.

Good to know, thank you! I didn’t realize that rule applies to Chase business cards as well. I can wait, that’ll give me more time to “establish the business” :scratchin

Chase Business cards don’t add to your 5/24 count, but you need to be under 5/24 to get approved for them
When your ready...apply with your actual name...first and last, nothing else as the business name and SS number as the business EIN

I didn't say I played it well...hahaha!! I wanted to play it my senior year of high school as a recital piece so I kind of cut and pasted excerpts that I could play and did my own arrangement. It is such a beautiful song! (I played most of the iconic parts people would recognize...I skipped some of the crazy sections with insane runs and such)

My son is playing Gershwin for his senior recital! Not Rhapsody in Blue, but a prelude. I really enjoy hearing him play it. It’s a lot of fun.

Middle school can be so awful! So much of the teasing just doesn’t even make any SENSE. Hope it’s much much better at the private school! :flower1:

Ok, so if I want to add my new CIP to my current Chase Biz account, do I first have to set up an account for the new one then call and have them merge the accounts?

:rotfl2:
And I will take hot over cold any day! Disney is not Disney to me unless I'm breaking a sweat lol. I'm like Olaf - I love all things summer :D The one mid-Dec trip we took was high 50's during the day and I thought I would freeze TO DEATH waiting for the MSEP in the 40's at night. No swimming, no tank tops, no flip flops, no water rides, no thanks! I keep thinking I want to go back when it's decorated for Christmas cause that was truly magical but then I remember how cold it was :cold:
I have two friends that have gone in July a couple times. They crack me up because they are opposites... one wants to die, basically, but the other one is in heaven with the heat in humidity. They were sticking to summer because one was in grad school.
Now: because of the previous event, we were making fun of her as she heads north, she has a stopover but will continue to final destination on the same plane. We were like, she probably miss her connector flight cuz shes all bad luck. Turns out she did miss her flight. For some reason, she thought it was okay to hop to the next concourse to a lounge on a 32 min layover. Not only did she miss her flight, the lounge was closed when she got there. She was trying to get onto the next flight(1 hour later) but the agent had no idea what was going on and by the time they figured out, it was too late to put her on that flight. she had to wait for the one 2 hours after her original flight. Now that makes her fly into her destination LATE... there goes her rental car since they are closed.

anyone have friends like that? haha.
:faint:
And I'm just trying to talk DH into going to a PP lounge when we leave MCO next week, since this will be our first time through MCO with Precheck, in case we'd have to do security twice. No luck so far since all of our normal security experiences there have been AWFUL. I figure... 6:30 flight, DME will pick us up around 3:30am :crazy2: So darn it I will be at the door at 5am when that darn lounge opens and it'll be fine.

I'm sorry. Kids can be cruel. It is so hard to have to relive it with your kids. DD loved being the youngest in the class. Though it was rough going to college at 17 and I think it will be rough again when all her friends are 21 and she is not. Her birthday is September and our cutoff was August, so not that much younger, but with many kids being held back before kindergarten she was a full year younger than a lot of kids.

That is horrible!!!!!!!!!! Kids are so nasty.
I remember my dd came home devastated, because the mean girl (who was also the daughter of one of our girl scout troop leaders) made fun of her for wearing an Eeyore shirt from Disney. This was in 2nd grade!!!!!!!!!!!
