I love a parade...!

Well, at least, my father-in-law does...and we're hoping to see some of the parades (MK and MGM, in particular) during our big family trip in July.

How early do you think we need to stake out a spot? Is 30 minutes enough time? Less? More? Whatcha think?

Hi Greg,

If you're going to SADCT or Spectro at the MK in July you will probably need to set up at least an hour ahead of time if you want a good spot.

You could get a spot 30 minutes before it starts, but probably not a good spot.

30 minutes seems a bit lean to me also. Of course my DD's don't like the parades so I rarely if ever get to see them. Hope you get a good spot.

When we were in Disney last week, my father and I staked out our spot for Spectromagic 2 hours ahead of time. We may be nuts, but we were not the first people on the curb either!
