I lost our tickets!

I have misplaced our park hopper tickets, but I do have the receipt. :earseek:

I called today to check and see what could be done, if anything. We leave the 16th, and the CM I spoke with said that it was too late to issue new tickets and mail them. She suggested that I go to any park and have them reissued. Has anyone had tickets reissued in the parks, will it take long? I can't believe I did this, I usually do not lose things! At least they can be replaced, I just knew I would have to purchase new tickets. :guilty:

Thanks for your input in advance! :D

I thought you had to have a copy of the back of the tickets before they could do anything,I maybe wrong though.
I hope everything works out.

If you have the receipt and it lists serial numbers for each ticket (which it should if you bought them direct from Disney via mail-order) you should be fine, just take the receipt to a guest relations window at any park. Also make sure you take the same credit card you used to buy the tickets, as they may be able to look up the transaction that way too.

Yes, the receipt has a reservation number as well as serial numbers for the tickets. I'm glad to get good news about this, I have been just sick about losing them. The CM said she made a note in the computer about replacing them with the receipt at a park. I hope this works out.
Thanks for the help!

You have what you need to get replacement tickets, have a magical time. :wizard: ::yes:: :wave2:

thanks danny1649! :D
I'm going to relax and not worry about it anymore!

edited to say:
I see you are leaving very soon danny1649. Have a wonderful vacation!

My BIL lost his family's tickets during his trip and it only took a few minutes to get them replaced. If I were you I would make an extra copy of that receipt, just in case.

thanks tiberius! I will take an extra copy of the receipt. I feel better about this and I'm so looking forward to our vacation.

Yep-- we didn't lose ours, but my sister's pass was looking a bit ratty by the end of the trip and the numbers on the back were basically illegible. I had noted all the pass numbers in my Passporter, and she was able to re-issue a fresh ticket based on the numbers I gave her. It took two minutes-- you should be able to do it at any ticket window.

And leave an extra copy at home with someone whom you could call and get the numbers from, in case Murphy's Law visits you further. :)

I leave mine at work - where I work is staffed 24 hours a day, so all I'd have to do is call someone to read me the numbers from a sheet on my desk. I haven't had to use them yet, but it makes me feel quite a bit more secure knowing all is not lost if the worst happens.

You are good to go then with the receipt and numbers. Issuing the new tickets will only take a matter of minutes at any guest services area.

:D thanks I appreciate the responses. I do feel better about this now, I was very upset. It all started when we surprised my daughter with a trip. We wrapped up items such as tickets, picture of hotel, etc. I left them on the receipt, she pulled them off when she realized what they were in all the excitement. After wrapping paper and other items were cleaned up, I have the receipt but no tickets. :earseek:
I'm glad I still have the receipt, I could be a lot worse off.
