I lost our Elf

Ugh, this weekend we were decorating and now Johnny, our Elf on the Shelf Elf is missing.

My DS is really upset that Johnny hasn't showed up the last 2 mornings. I told him this morning I heard on the news last night Santa is behind on production in his workshop and called all Elfs in to help out as he needed all hands on deck. Seemed to be okay for now but he really looked forward to finding Johnny every morning. DD gets it now and told me she thought I packed him away with the empties, i looked and no where.

Anyone know where I can get the replacement without having to buy the whole book package again and wait for it to get here? I don't even need the same elf, i can tell him Santa need the vetrans for help and is sending a new one. I'm desperate!!!

Magicelf.com has them and they overnight ship. Not the most cost efficient but definitely would get the job done. Good luck

We are using the Elves from Prep and Landing (on tonight!!!) and we got them at the Disney store for 19.50. Learning express stores have the doll from the kit by itself, but we always thought he looked like Kris Kringle from Santa Clause is coming to town, or Thing 1 from Cat in the hat

Maybe you can go out and find a stuffed elf... or even another "Christmas" plush animal. Maybe a reindeer or something different.

I got mine off of ebay. It is one of the elves from my magic elf dot com

I've seen them in Barnes & Noble -- but they come with the book, etc.

If you want the same elf, I would call or email the makers of Elf on the Shelf and see if they will sell you just the elf. I am sure you could find their contact info on their website.

Update to the above: I just checked their website and here is the answer.

"At this time, we do not sell the elves or the books as separate items. They arrive from the North Pole at The Elf on the Shelf headquarters together and then wait to be adopted."

I know you said you don't need the book etc but the Hallmark store did have them yesterday for $29.95. I guess it depends on how desperate you get.

I saw larger elves that looked the same on sale seperatly at Barnes and Noble, on display with the sets. They had the same features, but were larger and I think the clothes were plush rather than felt.

My kids LOVE looking for "Joey" every morning. One is 6 and the other is 2, and they ask me to read the book almost everynight! LOL!

TJ Maxx has some for about $10 or check on amazon. We bought ours there last year and shipped quickly. We also bought a reindeer for $4.99 at CVS and that came this year since we now have a puppy to watch over.

I was just at Hallmark and found an "Elf on the shelf" elf sold separately $7.99.

I found an Analee elf that is poseable for $12 at TJ Maxx last week. It looks different from the book one though.
