I lost my stuff because I was nice

OMG!!! This is not fair.

I lost: -Green Retro Penny Press
-Purple Madame Leota Table
(I know this isn't much, but it really is lame that there are people in VMK who like to steal things!)

This is what happened:

A girl came into my trade room and begged for my penny press. She said she needed it to feed her "family" in VMK. I was going to boot her, but I was so nice and traded it to her for a bunch of junky chairs. Before I knew it, she said that she needed a table, so I was nice and said that it was the last thing that I would give. Next, she asked for a blue heartless and this time I was fed up and said no. I told her that i was going to delete her from my friend list. AND HER RESPONSE WAS THIS: "I don't care, it's your loss that your things are with me now."

I was like OMG and then she deleted me! So I reported that stupid girl and I just got a stupid response back.

Let me hear your comments and questions. Did any of you have anything similar to this happen to you?

Really good friends will want to be in VMK to hang with you, not to beg for
stuff. You don't need those kinds of friends. You are better off without
her, and at least you realized that she was using you.

I have no tolerance for the brats who do that. I'm glad you stood up for
yourself. Nice going! At least the items you gave her were buyable.

How did she get your stuff? I thought that cannot happen if you do not hit "accept." What do I need to learn about how this can happen?

i did the same thing sort of well no but here is what i did.

ok so here goes this boy on vmk had no teleportation and had been trying to get it for weeks i felt really bad for the boy and remembered when i wanted teleportation ive had the magic 4 times so to me now its nothing, but this boy had a really bad offer, feeling sorry for the boy i dicided to give him teleportation even though his offer was bad, after the trade he thanked me alot and left after that i felt nice but also stupid.

Anybody knows to never give stuff away that you would later regret. I know that sometimes the other character "seems" really sad but that might just be an act to get what they want.
I couldn't figure out how many stars my bat magic was so this boy told me to give it to him and then he could tell me, he said a couple times that i really can trust him and that he would give it right back to me. It was tempting because I really wanted to know but I didn't do it. He kept following me around the room and since he was not on my friends list I left so he couldn't find me.
I still don't know but that's ok...lol

I usually only give stuff to people I don't know very well if they don't beg. Every once in a while I might give something to a new person, but nothing I don't mind giving away. These words are your friend: "No, sorry" and also "Click on the Ignore button"
and also "Click on the Boot button".

Well something like that has happened to me before.


It went like this, It was the day that the bat magic came out ( I think u can guess where this is going ) and this girl came up to me and asked me for my bat magic, i said uh i dont know so she put the pink teleporters there and she said that they were rare but i knew that they weren't so i said no, again, stopped trading and she said that if i didntlet her have my bat magic she would report me if she ever saw me, (a lot of people see me on vmk over again and thier not my freinds).

Boot, I am so sorry that happened to you! I too at first felt pressured to give ppl stuff when they beg but I no longer do that. I give things to my good friends only. I know it might seem harsh but really think about it, it is virtual stuff... and if they really wanted things they could play games to get credits.
So stick up for yourself and don't feel badly when you say no to ppl on vmk that beg.

To find out how many stars are on your bat magic, click on the chair, lower left of screen, click on pin tab, if you are wearing the bat magic it will be at the bottom of that screen. Look at your magic pin and at the bottom of the pin you will see little yellow stars, one for each pin cobined. If it is a one star it is just one pin, 2 star means 2 pins combined and so on. Hope that helps.
