OK, it was chilly this morning, so I grabbed my denim jacket out of the closet. Haven't worn it in months. So I stick my hands in the pocket, and pull out $2.75! OK, enough for a coffee and a bagel. So is that great or what?

While driving from Biloxi to Norfolk last spring I saw a HUGE yard sale and decided to stop for a break. Picked up a lovely sweater, tossed it in the trunk and continued on my merry way. The next day when I arrived at my destination I went to wash the sweater and checked the pockets before tossing it in the washer. I pulled out a $100 bill!!!! I felt kind of bad keeping it but I certainly couldn't send it back since of course, I didn't write down the address or anything. I did use $5 of it the next day at Walmart when the young mom in front of me didn't have enough to pay the total. That made me feel a bit better about it.

I always find treasures in my coat and jacket pockets, I have a coat/jacket collection and very rarely wear the same one for extended periods, and well, just never remember what is in a pocket till I go to wear it again

When my friends father died and she went over to start cleaning out his stuff she money in almost every pocket of his pants and coats, money in almost every book he had stuck between many pages...money in a bag of cat litter and a shoebox of money under the bed...she was shocked! She was afraid to throw anything out until she loooked at it carefully then!
