I leave tomorrow for my first solo trip !

I have a 7 am flight tomorrow morning , and I will be in WDW for 10 days. I have four possible parties I can hit up. It will be weird , I am so used to being in the parks with my wife. Wish me luck.

Yea I love the idea of making my own decisions. Getting up and not having to wait for the wife to get showered and ready will save me an hour easily in the mornings.Oh believe me I will have to get her something good. Any ideas on a cute gift ?

WOW 10 days alone at WDW? My DH ONLY allows me to be gone 3-4 days THATS IT! I am NEVER alone as my DS and friends from the area join me!

I go often alone. At first you'll feel a bit odd but them you will become more comfortable. I now enjoy going alone. My wife doesn't care to go as often as I do.

You are going to love it. I took my first solo trip last year for the Flower and Garden Festival. It was great fun so I scheduled myself another one.

Mine are much shorter than yours though. Does your wife like the Laila perfume in Norway? If she has tried it and liked it, that would be a really special gift.

Or does she like nice scarves? I found some gorgeous ones in China and Japan.

For MK, I love the glass store. Maybe something from there?

Have a great time!!!! My DH surprised me with a solo trip for 4 days last year and it was WONDERFUL! Enjoyed the food and wine festival, went to a MNSSHP, and did so much roaming, photos and people watching. Wish I could do it again soon but we just found out our DD will be singing at the candelight processional this year so we will be having a big family trip over Christmas. That solo trip surely spoiled me!!! Enjoy!!!

Don't think DW would ever let me do a solo trip so the most I could ever hope for is a trip sans kids. Congrats to you and have a magical trip.

I would suggest the Mickey head pearl necklace. I have it (2 actually) and love them!! They are small and dainty enough I wear mine almost daily. I have the white pearl and also the chocolate pearl necklaces.

Doing a solo trip 11/28 for four nights. Three Yacht Club CL and one night BLT Studio MKV. Been there a few days solo on and off but nothing extended. Always been a great experience. Its much easier to take your time and enjoy the parks and soak up the atmosphere. A lot less pressure to have to do the rides. Looking forward to MVMCP and the decorates.

I have always wanted to do a solo trip and never got up the nerve to do it! I think it would be so relaxing and nice to be able to view the parks on my own terms. But - i dont know if DH would dig me going by myself....
