I leave in 5 days, what else do i need to do?

or according to my countdown timer beside me, i have 6519 minutes until the day i go. LOL.

(it used to say 300+ days!)

What do I need to do?

I am packed, i almost have the kids packed.

I need to reconfirm my ADR's and my hotel res and my ME bus.

What else do I need to be doing?

We leave in 5 days too. I thought about doing all thoe things but decided I planned this out for a year, I have my ADR confirmation numbers, I have my ME docs and resort confirmation docs. I'm going to let it go and just anticipate getting on that plane, Orlando bound. CSR, here we come! 5 days..5 days...5 days....

We leave in 5 too! But, I haven't started packing yet. Right now my dresser is buried under a pile of misc things that I need to remember to pack. But, once my laundry is done today I plan to start packing what I can.

FionaLovesShrek we'll be at CSR too! If you see a redhead with two hyper kids, a tired dh, a frazzled gradma, and an old lady in a wheelchair, that's us!

We arrive Sat 12/2 too! I don't know if you have the same rules or restrictions in Canada. But if you are flying - watch the liquids in your carry on luggage! They are restricted to certain ounces carried in a certain way.

I am so envious of all of you who are going. We were there in August and I just told my DH last night that I wanted to go back to WDW for the weekend. He gave me a look like I was crazy. It's a money issue. That's okay because I can look forward to planning for next years trip.

As for what to do these next few days before your trips-

Make sure you have extra batteries cameras and have video camera batteries charged.

Have your home all set for christmas so when you come back that is one less headache you have.

Enjoy and have fun.

I just booked our park-n-fly online today. I also need to run by the bank to get some $1's for tips.
Need to buy a few more things, wash clothes and finish packing (already half-way done).

I can't wait! DH and I are BOTH SO excited!!!

We are staying at CSR too...

Go to the post office to arrange to have your mail held.

Keep an eye on the Orlando forecast in case you need to make any packing adjustments.

Use up everything perishable in the fridge and plan to do a cleaning out the night before (and/or in conjunction with your trash pick up schedule).

Install a timer on one of your household lights and set it up in advance to make sure it's working.

Count us in for arriving on 12/2 as well..

I'm going nuts here - tryng to coordinate everything and everyone; figure out what to pack (based on the weather); making some "loose" type of schedule to make sure we see what we want to see in case the crowds are horrendous; etc..

I'm off to the doctors in a little while - then the bank - then Walmart to look for some of those very thin thermals, as well as getting my 1, 2 and 3gt. zipper lock bags..

We're still unpacking from moving here (house is also in various stages of being renovated) and I don't have a CLUE what we're going to do about Christmas decorations.. Just don't see there being any time before we leave..

Oh well.. I'm sure it will all come together..

We are 7 days out and have not packed a thing! We really can't since it is a surprise trip for the kids so if we packed now, they would know something was up. Everything is where it needs to be for that packing frenzy Sunday night when the kids go to bed. I'll probably be " too excited to sleep"
so DW and I will START packing everything around 9 PM

I am leaving on Monday the 4th...first solo trip...

Couple things:

1) Buy some of those cheap 99 cent ponchos at Walmart..they tend to run a little more at Disney

2) Turn the water off on the washer...don't want to come home to a flooded house

3) I like to take a backpack with all my stuff in it...much easier

4) DON"T FORGET THE TICKETS

5) Turn the heat down

6) I clean out my wallet so all that is in it is what I might need there

7) I buy some of those single serving Kool Aids then during the day buy a single water...then get free ice water refills from any restuarant and make Kool Aid...much cheaper than the $3.00 Sodas...

8) Get the newspaper stopped

9) Tell the neighbors to watch the house...

10) and most of all...RELAX...Have Fun...

DH and I leave in 4 days!

I haven't done any laundry or packing yet. I trying to figure out the best way to prepare for DH's sister, who will be watching the boys. I've got to meal plan, school plan and emergency contact plan! It doesn't help when the youngest gets sick yesterday either. Now I've got a doctor visit in there too!

Disney is looking more and more relaxing!

I'll be arriving on 12/2 also.... I am panicking, thank you above poster for mentioning about the mail. I need to do that now.

Temps look like they will be around 75 degrees as a high and in the 50's for the low....perfect weather I think I will pack capris, jeans, and a sweatshirt for at night.

Don't forget sunglasses!!!!
