3) Are there any "Hey we are staying at DVC Boardwalk" perks we should be taking advantage of?

Yes, you can use your room key to charge just about anywhere on Disney property. You just need to give them a credit card at check-in. The room key and our annual passes were the only things we carried with us most of the time. Our wallets stayed locked in the room safe -- except when we went to Sea World and Universal, of course.

How often they make up the rooms depends on how long you'll be staying. You have the option of purchasing daily cleaning, but it comes with a steep pricetag. The standard cleaning is as follows:

For a stay of 7 days or less: Trash & Towel service on day 4
For stays longer than 7 days: Full cleaning on day 4, Trash & Towel on day 8, full cleaning on day 12 ...

There aren't necessarily perks of staying at the resort, but there are perks of being a DVC member, including discounts on certain things, and pool-hopping benefits.

Yes, you can utilize the Disney Magical Express from and to the airport. Just tell Member Services you want it when you make your booking. You just need to tell them your flight info. (If you don't have it yet, you can call back at a later date and add it to the reservation.)

--->Yes...as a DVC point guest you'll still get a KTTW card that (assuming you leave a CC on your account) will permit you to charge to your room.

--->On Point stays of 4 days, you'll get trash removal and towel restocking, on point stays of 7 + nights, on the 4th you'll get a full cleaning and a T&T (trash and towel service) on the 8th.

3) Are there any "Hey we are staying at DVC Boardwalk" perks we should be taking advantage of?

--->aside from the other DVC perks, no...other than the comparative ease of walking to Epcot and MGM.

4) Can we use that "take me to the airport Disney bus"?

--->Yes, Disney's Magical Epress is available with advanced booking to DVC members staying on points.

You did not mention the Disney Dining Plan. Do you want it? If you do, you have to add it on to the reservation before checkin and pay at check in. You will have to call Member Services and add it on.

Actually, you must 8 nights or more (9+ days) to get the full cleaning on day 4 and trash and towels on day 8. If you only stay 7 nights, you check out on day 8.

To the OP, are you a DVC member? If you are you'll be eligible for DVC perks. If not, you won't. You'll get a Portable Perks booklet when you check in and will need your blue member card to get those perks.

Valet parking and pool hopping are member perks. If the member is not there with you, you are not eligible for these perks. You'll need to show a blue member card to get these. If you are not a member, you don't get any member perks (as discussed in Portable Perks). Only resort perks like ME, EMH, Disney transportation, etc.
